All the dlc does is add a bunch of terribly unbalanced items and enemies, and adds a new stupid instant run ending mechanic, not to mention the maps, all of the maps this dlc adds are horrible slogs to get through

In concept Embr is a game about a world where firefighting becomes a gig app like Uber or ubereats, you check the app and put out fires in a very diverse map currently consisting of about 20 levels with 5-6 challenge modes you can play to unlock extra flames or gold.

Embr is a cartoony game with a family friendly sense of humor, including everybodies favourite counter gig app hosr (their Canadian competitor).

The gameplay starts out pretty basic with you just having basic firefightig gear but late game you can have a *checks notes* water jetpack and quantum hoses that spray through walls.

There are many different playstyles depending on what kind of support you want to provide In a multiplayer setting.

In terms of multiplayer people complain about the game being laggy, but iirc the game uses peer to peer due to the relatively small player base (and being an indie Dev), in my experience multiplayer runs perfectly fine and if you don't have friends to play it with you can go on the discord server and find a new pal to burn away the hours with.

4/5 Flames excited for more of the story.
