EDIT: I gave the game another opportunity over the course of several weeks. It's terrible. Have some respect for yourself and don't waste your time on this actual, literal garbage.

I want to like the game so badly. It has so much potential. But I cannot in good faith continue to play it anymore. Ever since the New Frontiers update, the matchmaking has gotten so horrendously bad. What is incredibly obvious to me is that the new Glicko system creates matches with pre-determined outcomes.

I am an above average safe lane player who wins lane more than half the time and is competitive in lane all of the time. Without fail what has been happening this season in ranked is that in 99% of games, one team has generally won the game before 10 minutes have even elapsed. Routinely I am finding myself in games where my mid and off-laners are 15,000 gold behind their opponent at the end of the game. And it's not every once in a while, it's every game. Every game is a stomp. Even the wins are meaningless because they're just so pathetically easy. I can count on one hand how many close games I have been in since this update, and I've put hundreds of hours in since then. The game just feels bad, bad, bad. Such a shame that a game with so much potential puts out such an inferior product.
