Solid adventure ARPG. Switch between firing cannons on an airship and gunning down enemies on foot. Lots of different weapons and mods, but you'll probably find a favorite one. The ship combat isn't my favorite, but there's not too much of it. Writing is good, not too silly, but doesn't take itself entirely seriously. All around great game except those damn unskippable island liberation cutscenes.

I'd rather be realmwalking

Explore and alien planet and clean up some gunk. A nice little adventure game with some puzzles, exploring ancient ruins, and alien plant life thrown in the mix. Fun for about 5 hours or so, not too challenging.

Gameplay is well done. Plenty of meta progression with ability upgrades, separate weapons, and components you can equip. Everything in the game is solid, there's just not much there. Only 3 levels to play, after that you can increase the difficulty for greater rewards, but no more variety. The weapons are quite different, but the skills you get during a run are shared so it feels very similar. Once you've unlocked everything all that's left is doing more runs for better components or weapon upgrades. There's not really anything new left to do. Would be great if they added some more content.

Not sure if its just that all the positive reviews are older, but I didn't find anything impressive about this game. The combat doesn't feel very fun. The level generation is okay, but nothing special. The only part that was really interesting to me was the books that hinted at where secret items were placed. After a few playthroughs I didn't feel like coming back.

Fairly straightforward base defense + mining game. Campaign progresses you slowly through different upgrades and buildings. After you're done with the campaign you can play random maps or do challenges. Gameplay is pretty fun and overall an enjoyable game. Only con is that a lot of strategy feels like gaming the enemy AI. If you can guide them to always attacking 1 spot, its fairly easy to defend. But maybe that's part of the game?

Gameplay is fine, but the humor is just terrible. If it wasn't so in your face maybe you could just ignore it, but its everywhere.

Somewhere between a puzzle game and a casual builder. You have limited resources, completing the objectives with what you have can be tricky to figure out. But none of the maps are all that difficult. And they're always randomized. So its more of an efficiency game that a real puzzle. Still fun and the art is very pretty.

Needs more choice mechanics. Having only 3 choices, but 5 different elements, a variety of gun shapes, and abilities that you actively *do not want* makes leveling up not very enjoyable. Having guns with wildly different shooting patterns makes targeting in between each shot basically pointless. Feels more like you are getting random powerups than you are picking ones to make a build. Not really my kind of game.

Nice to have a survivors-like game with a bit shinier graphics. The zombie apocalypse theme works well with the genre. The different characters all bring something different to the fight. Getting to put 3 of them together for your team makes for some powerful combinations. In the end though, I think there's not really that much choice. You pretty much always want to pick whatever gives the most DPS. Within your DPS options there isn't really much that feels different. Needs some work to provide you with more variety of viable options. The one area that is interesting is the challenges. Doing no hit challenge for example, requires a different strategy than the normal gameplay.

Still a fun game to play and certainly worth your time as is. Hopefully they keep expanding it and add more variety.
