An excellent exploration adventure game, but this time vertically. The climbing mechanic is interesting. I played using mouse and keyboard, alternating the mouse buttons to climb with each arm. Took a while to get used to the rhythm, but once I did it felt natural. Remembering which hand to let go and which to hold makes it feel intense, I found myself gripping the mouse really hard. I think that works well as an analogue for rock climbing.

Fun exploration adventure game featuring a sweet caravan. You explore your once home planet and uncover a secret about its past. Overall its quite well done, lovely art style. Wish that more of the lore was in the exploration, most of it comes from conversations with characters and they can get a bit tedious. +1 for Blahaj.

Great world building and a fun story to play through it. The tactical combat is pretty good, but some of the cover mechanics are bugged or the % info is wrong (at least in lite tactical). Still not too difficult to play through, your characters get a lot of powerful abilities to even things out. Most encounters you can also sneak around and ambush individuals to give you an advantage. Loved the keypad door locks being escape room like puzzles rather than "find data pad, enter combo".

Mostly a visual novel with some light game elements. If that's what you're looking for it's a good one. Interesting setting, good writing, and an awesome art style.

Civilization lite, but the actions you can take each turn are based on cards you draw from your deck. Works pretty well, but the deck management can get complicated as you gain cards. It's interesting, but I'd probably rather just be playing Civ.

At its core it's a point and click adventure game. You are a write who has the ability to jump into books. You explore the book world, solve some mysteries, and even get into a little combat. There is also a meta world where you live outside the books, which has a very Dark City feel to it. You are being contracted by a mysterious collector to steal things from the books and bring them back into your world. But stealing things from the books has consequences for the characters within and you have to decide if this bothers you or not. The writing is excellent, as it should be for a game about books. Each book completes a nice chapter of the game where you can pause and come back later, though I played through them all. The meta world has a nice mystery to it that progress with each book and makes you want to keep going. I wish they had done a little more with the meta world story as there are lots of clues to tease you, but not much is explained in the end. I think the closest game this feels to me is the Time Stories board game, jumping between different worlds/times. Overall, definitely recommend if any of the above sounds intriguing to you.

Interesting idea, but I don't think it works well for a tower defense. The randomness of the available tiles makes it really hard to execute a strategy. Even then there's not really too much synergy between the tiles. It's a a neat idea, looks great, but it doesn't really feel like a TD.

Feels a bit more like a JRPG than Pokemon. Not usually a fan of Pokemon style games as they usually feel too slow. With the JRPG style combat and the ability to customize what actions play animations, you can greatly speed up fights. There's a considerable amount of depth to the game, tons of monsters, spells, items, etc. Honestly maybe a bit too much, it gets hard to sort through at the end. Had fun playing through to the end of the story, but didn't feel compelled to keep going much more after that. Still a good game, worth a playthrough.

Gameplay is okay, but difficulty is not well balanced. Some encounters are a cakewalk, some are near impossible.
