I did not enjoy this puzzle game, and puzzle games are my thing. First off, the art is beautiful; but that's the only part that I enjoyed. The story (mostly wordless as it is) is perfectly fine, even if obvious where it's heading. But the puzzles, the substance of the game, weren't all that fun. Some were fine, while others felt like there weren't enough hints as to what I was supposed to do. I found myself stumbling a lot because of this lack of explanation. I also think the game would feel better if movement was based on WASD and interactions based on clicking, rather than it all being click-based. Point-and-click movement always feels clunky.

Unrelated frustration and not the reason I don't recommend the game: there are 2 optional achievements (of the non-level-completion ones) that drive me crazy (the time-based ones). I don't like when games want you to complete a puzzle in a certain amount of time, or even the whole game in a time limit. It just turns the game into a chore for me. Still working on that last achievement.

Even being a short puzzle game, it's very relaxing and enjoyable. And the art in this game is breathtaking! If you like picture scramble puzzles (and cats and zodiac aesthetics) then definitely pick up this game to support Devcats!

Sudoku is one of my favorite games, and cats make it even better. It took a little getting used to the pictorial nature. With numbers you can easily start with 1 and work your way through the numbers to know which ones you've checked for, but with the pictures I had to find a way to keep track of which ones I'd checked. I found myself referring to the various cats by different names to keep track of them. I called the gray one Juno (my gray cat) and the brown tabby Cyrus (my brown tabby). The pictorial nature made it a little more challenging when you get to the 9x9 puzzles, but in a very fun way. (There is also the option to change it to numbers if you struggle with the cat icons. I'm glad this is an option for people, but I definitely didn't use it because that would've defeated the purpose of it being CAT Sudoku for me!). With the first few puzzles you unlock hint tools for later puzzles in case you need hints. The only time the 9x9 puzzles started to feel challenging was in the Extra Puzzles section, but it wasn't frustrating in the slightest. I definitely love that there's a daily challenge feature as well. Definitely buy this game if you love cats and Sudoku!

Like "A Building Full of Cats" this game is a simply delightful hidden object game. What makes this one different from "Building" is that it has more of a story. The cats in this castle have been cursed, and you must travel throughout the castle lifting the curse from each one. You must find a certain number before you can enter new rooms, and there are also objects you can find such as keys. Once you reach the top of the castle, you are in for a fun climax, though I can't say more or I'd spoil the surprise! As with "Building" the art is so cute and I love the variety of ways the cats look while cursed. Very creative hidden object game. Once again, worth the money. Help Devcats raise awareness of adoption and rescue!

This game is a simple hidden object game in which you must find and pet all of the cats on each floor of the building. I love games like this because they are relaxing and help me destress. The art is awesome and each floor's theme is cute. I loved looking at all the details as I was finding the kitties. I also really enjoyed that there are two kinds of hidden cats to find: the ones in plain sight and the ones hidden inside/behind objects that you have to interact with. There's so much personality in this simple game. Also Mr. Fofiño was a delight to chase throughout the building. Definitely recommend this game, and every other Devcats game if you love cats; they are worth the money and help raise awareness of adoption and rescue.

I *only* recommend this dlc so the yards and outside of the house don't look awful. But I hardly ever put any effort into making a pretty garden because it's WAY TOO LIMITED in how you can place things. especially things like plants which should be able to grow into each other/overlap/be really close together. Things like artificial ponds can't even hide the fake plastic rim with pebbles because it doesn't let you place them on top of that rim to make it look natural and pretty. It's a huge disappointment. The only thing I ever do really is cut the grass so the exterior of the house isn't awful. Maybe some plants or trees, a patio or pool. but that's it. Get it on sale if you must have it.

I'm fairly perfectionist in my designs, but this game is so fun and gives me hours and hours of enjoyment despite certain limitations (e.g. placing small objects next to each other/snapping). So many more items have been added to the game since I first started playing, so that's good. Looking forward to seeing how House Flipper 2 improves on the first using a new engine.

Edit: Forgot to add, of the two DLC I have (Garden Flipper and HGTV), HGTV is worth it and I don't have much issue with it. I love the new houses and items. Garden flipper is a huge disappointment because the placement limitation (like what I discussed above about the base game) impacts garden creation much more than it does interior design.

It's not really anything unless you wanna just spend hours flying around and doing... nothing. I'm not sure if I understand the purpose of this. At least with other flight games, there are things to do or an interesting environment. Don't be fooled by my playtime. I just wanted to finish the achievements since I may as well get something out of this experience if not enjoyment.

A nice puzzle game whose difficulty appropriately ramps up. It's very intuitive and is aesthetically pleasing. I enjoy the music tone sound effects; they lend to a relaxing experience to which I could zone out. If it ever gets stale (due to its repetitive nature), you can simply take a break and come back to it when you're in the mood for it. Good replay value. It is very well suited to daily ongoing play with the dailies.

Despite how short this game is, it is worth a play. Simple, yet moving narrative that spoke to me in my own way even though the character's trials do not exactly match my own. The game was fairly well balanced between puzzles and slight horror elements, but just know this game is narrative-heavy (which isn't a bad thing.) The aesthetic is fantastic, and the horror elements were just enough that a person who doesn't usually do horror might be able to handle this game. (I'm a scaredy cat and most scares I didn't bat an eyelash.)
