I'd have more playtime on this game, if I was even able to run the thing without it nearly bricking my laptop. So I've compiled comments from observing other longtime players of TCM:The Game.

Gun Media have consistently shown themselves to be an absolutely terrible company when it comes to their horror IP games: Bugs that are still prominent from RELEASE nearly a year and a half ago; cheap-looking but expensive cosmetic packs that you can't even tell the difference between outfit-wise; a complete lack of healthy community responsibility, completely ignoring valid criticisms or even spouting outright misinformation about bugs or gameplay in order to cover themselves every time a patch is released. I'd call it Ubisoft-tier fumblery, but even Ubisoft's updates and patches actually fix more than 25% of what they claim to!!! Absolutely DON'T bother purchasing this game.

And of course, a lack of care from the creators has led to a very obvious decline in the community. Hackers still roam free to do as they please, the community itself is constantly torn between a raging and toxic mentality towards all matches (even between teammates) and fighting amongst one another to praise the developers for the most minimal changes (and almost always never for the better, as like dominoes if one fix is made, it tumbles into another bug, and another and another, because Gun refuses to test their development OUTSIDE of private matches, let alone hire real playtesters!)

I am sorry if you or someone you know has decided to purchase the game for Xbox as well - since Gun still have not fixed Xbox crashing during matches. You are still very much at the mercy of Wyatt and his knives.

The game is still in desperate need of various tweaks, nerfs and buffs for characters both Victim and Family side. For example: Hands, a DLC character that you must purchase, is almost unplayable due to several bugs that stop his barge from working properly, and multiple nerfs to his speed, even removing the Scout perk from his tree.

In attempting to fix another DLC character, the new family member Bones, grappling as a whole has become so messed up that any close encounter is a complete cointoss, with randomly assigned values to all participants unless you're under 50% health.

The new Storm map for Slaughterhouse has also completely bugged other maps, with audio cues playing during other maps that belong to Stormy Slaughterhouse, as well as apparently completely removing Bones' spawn from the map - resulting in him randomly spawning in other Family members' places. This includes with Leatherface in the basement, allowing him to be visible during opening cutscenes.

Nothing is going to improve until some very major changes undergo Gun Media's staff or its partner creators.
This community deserves so much more than we have been given, for all of the terrible bugs, awful balance decisions and constant shilling of terrible and lazily-made cosmetics
Do not buy this game.

I'm pleased to say that after only 15 hot, sweaty, ball-breaking hours of gameplay, I finally get to fondle Brulo's old man sack. Thanks Summitsphere! :D

FINAL SUMMARY
-----
+ The puzzles are GREAT (minus Late Fees)! What DOES exist for gameplay is very enjoyable and I look forward to more content being released in this manner. I only wish there was more of it.
+ The designs of the characters was very cool to me. I like the art style of the game overall, and I appreciate on a personal level the amount of older male characters with facial hair (always a plus in my book, haha)

- The game is SEVERELY unpolished.
- The game is SHOCKINGLY short, the main game clocking in at an average 1.5-2 hours on a second-time playthrough. My first playthrough was around 4 hours.
- The game's characters are not very developed, and the story is barren.
- The A.I. is functional, but NOT as marketed, and breaks a LOT (I would not focus so heavily on this if it was not the main selling point of the game).
- The whole game lacks in content and does not make up for the price it is being sold at.
- The two DLC levels are clearly unfinished, one of them does not even have an ending and I do not think they should have been released in the state that they are currently in now.
- The parkour returns in the DLCs, and it has not improved.
- The story in the DLCs is vague at best, and nonexistent elsewhere. (One of them is missing an ending)
- The amount of game content that I received for this amount of money overall was NOT worth it.

IN CONCLUSION:
I do not recommend buying Hello Neighbor 2.

Even 23 years later, this game still holds up as a fantastic sci-fi FPS. Though the story is a little purposefully vague, the enviornments are rich and thick with atmosphere; the gameplay fun, fulfilling and filled with excitement around every turn, and its legacy is a testament to Valve's skill as a game development team.

Fun and fruity. Very short, but very funky! Definitely worth your attention. Love the style for this as well! Excellent work all around.

Excellent, exciting and fun gameplay; Engaging storyline and characters; Twist and Endings still hold the same weight with multiple playthroughs. 110% recommended for everyone to play!
