Hard, unforgiving, but still fun and very atmospheric. It's still regularily updated, and I honestly haven't noticed any cheaters yet.

First Civ game I've played, easy to sink hours in to. Not impossible to get into, but a lot to learn and master.
Single player is fun, trying all kinds of strategies.
Multiplayer with friends is great, working together or the opposite of that.
The different game modes, like Red Death, give a cool spin on the core gameplay.

The only negative I can find, is that multiplayer sometimes refuses to work properly, even on a local network. Some games go perfectly fine, but recently I experience many desyncs.

Nice way to start with the Neptunia series.
The battle system is fine. Fairly standard turn-based fights.
Not too hard or complex, but some of the higher level (optional) fights still require some strategy.
The dungeons are pretty linear, and get reused often. Monsters are palette swaps in the later dungeons. This showcases the lower budget of this series, especially the earlier entries.

The real draw lies in the characters, and their interactions.
Story and dialogue segments are done in a visual novel style. The art and character design here is top notch. Characters look and act vibrant, and I love them. The voice actors are excellent, some of them being pretty high profile in Japan.
There are quite a few characters to choose for your party, each with their own, unique, skills. Balance wise, the Goddesses kind of overpower the rest, which is probably the biggest flaw in the gameplay department.
Every character _can_ be used in battle. However, for the DLC dungeons, you're basically bound to the goddesses.

If you like cute characters, turn based battles and silly humor, you might like this. Be aware that some amount of grinding is needed, though.
Would recommend.

One of the best FPS's out there, with a pretty much perfect free to play system.
Each class can take hundreds of hours to master, but it doesn't feel overwhelming for a newcomer.

Since I first wrote this review, most of the issues I had with casual matchmaking have been solved. Queue times have drastically improved for me, the party system was improved, and I like how you can access all sub-menus wile queuing. Checking your backpack, editing loadouts and what not.

What I'd like to see fixed:
being able to fight against friends, instead of always being in the same team.
Ad-hoc connections. Though I can understand this not being added, for privacy reasons. (being big in the community, for example)

Team balance can still be an issue, and joining right as a server changes maps is still annoying..

Other than some weapon (re-)balances, and some mechanics (random crits, random bullet spread to name a few)I think this game is in its best state since quite a while.
Would definitely recommend.
