It took me sometime to truly understand and appreciate the beauty of this game. It doesn't hold your hand snowflakes, but if you stick with it and EXPERIMENT, you will master it. Mastering it, i have NOT, in fact I feel as though i have still only scratched the surface of what this game has to offer...after some 52 hrs+. I generally do not write reviews, but after seeing "mixed" in the recent reviews i felt i should add my opinion.

One of my favorite games of All Time! If you're like me and enjoy a challenging, yet fair experience....this is the game for you. If you're a casual who wants ♥♥♥♥ spoon fed to you...well, look elsewhere. (perhaps on your mobile phone.) Great art style, Lovecraftian (if that's a word) influences and a generally Grim Dark setting. What more could you want? Buy this game before the new one and enjoy a classic.

I played quite a bit of SD Normandy '44, and theyve made quit a few nice changes. A Really enjoyable tactical WWII game with incredible units and detailed maps.

No technical issues at all. This game is Brilliant, perhaps a bit clunky on KB/M, but who cares....just thrilled it came to the PC! Thank You Rock Star for porting this game and bringing it to Steam.

More nasties to Maul, Decapitate and otherwise "inconvenience" my Battle Brothers? Uh....yes plz!

If you like a challenge and enjoy individual troop management and tactical gameplay, BUY THIS game!

Hours of enjoyment. I have No Interest in writing an indepth review, but felt compelled to give this game a well deserved thumbs up.

Everything I hopped it would be so far. I usually get bored once my borders are well established and my army can hold it's own; you know, the challenging bit is past. Well, this TW promises to keep me playing well past the mid-game, the higher tier units add so much flavor, and levelling your lords and characters feels like an RPG. ;) As an old school D&D, Fantasy Realms nerd, this is the game I have been waiting for CA to make.....and so far they nailed it! By Far my best Total War experience to date. It's not EU4 when it comes to strategy, but there is more depth here than any previous title i've played. Highly recommend!

Yes, it's alpha.
Yes, it's taking FOREVER.
And yes we are ALL tired of waiting.

I've played the mod extensively and although i bought this when it came out i'm just now returning. Why? because NOTHING else is like DayZ. No other game makes my hands sweat during a gun battle. No other game offers what this game does. i can't define it, we'll I could but i'm lazy. Anyhow, TRY it....one of the BEST games EVER concieved. if you dont believe me, all you have to do is look at ALL THE IMITATORS DayZ created for frick sake to know it's a game worth playing.
