Understanding your limitations is what will make you happy because you can free yourself from trials and tribulations that you can't overcome and instead put yourself on a path you can see to completion, that will make you fulfilled, happy and free of stress. While it is true that we have limits, and must keep those in mind, it can actually be bad to only work within those limits. Hitting one's limits and trying to push past them is what allows someone to advance further that what they normally could.
