Fantastic game, and I wish it was talked about more because it's probably one of my favorite lynchian games (and there's quite a few of those). The story is really creative and unique, and the ending might be one of my favorite in any game I've ever played. Unfortunately that's all I can say about the story without spoiling anything, since it's one of those games where it's really better if you go in blind.
The only complaint I have is actually getting to the final ending, I played with a friend and we managed to get around 10 endings until we reached a wall and we ended up looking some hints. Maybe if we thought about it a bit more and came back later with a fresh perspective we would have gotten them on our own, but the requirements were a bit too specific in small areas for my enjoyment. When some of the endings boil down to just making the right face at the right time, it's not as rewarding as some of the more scavenger hunt type endings. Maybe there's a small humor that we were able to get the more cryptic endings but needed a guide for the more basic ones? Tangent aside, we started getting mildly fed up at that point but it really was worth it to see the game through in its entirety. I really enjoyed my time with Who's Lila, and I'm very excited to see what Garage Heathen's next project entails.
