100+ hours in. I think this game is a solid 8/10. I will explain below.

I played with my irl friends and made a couple friends in the game.

I will be playing this game as long as they keep making content.

My pc: 3070ti, 12th gen intel cpu, 32gb RAM, WIN11.

Graphics: 10. Amazing lighting quality. Amazing details, meshes and textures. The game runs amazingly smooth above 60fps with ultra graphics on my rig.

Story: 6. Basic copy and paste story of dire circumstances and having to fight off an army of invaders, etc. However, the enemies are varied and interesting, well done and look good. The world is unique but it lacks lore.

Controls: 9. Superb controller support and everything feels smooth and how it should be. The grappling could be better and sometimes the jumping is janky.

Sounds: 8. Distance gunshots sound like I am downrange again. As someone who has spent thousands of hours behind a firing weapon, or downrange from one, or near one, I can say the sounds are fairly realistic. All other sounds make me feel immersed. Voice acting is great, even if some is AI.

Fun: 9. Like i said, my friends and I had a lot of fun coming over to this from Helldivers2 and it was worth it.

Negatives: I will say that the game maps are a bit small or limited and I wish they were much larger, had more points of interest, or just had more objectives. Maybe more open areas to traverse, i don't know, but I feel like that was a negative for me. Content: I wish there was a lot more customization options. A LOT more. The game is very grindy for just about everything ULTIMATE, and I wish there was higher drop percentages is all. And then when you craft, you must wait again. I do not like that, and I wish it was a quicker wait than 18 hours on some of the things.

Positives: bringing my friends into the game, we had a blast and hopefully we will continue to do so. Gorgeous lighting and textures, character models look fabulous. Gun play and overall gameplay is FAST, FUN and engaging. I love playing this game. It is a top notch looter shooter, similar to Destiny, very much so.

Recommendations: I HIGHLY recommend they release a full photomode, where you can pose your characters, change outfits, add items, change lighting, etc etc. Some vistas were just beautiful and I would have loved to make them into screensavers. I recommend more content like customization options. I would like to see more areas, and maybe some unique games or puzzles.

Disclaimer: I did spend money inside of the game and purchased their in-game currency. I spent maybe a total of $50 on this game, but I had so much fun and played so much. I think it is very worth it.

Favorite part of the game is the horde modes, they are called DEFEND missions. I love running around those and listening to spotify playlists or podcasts.

I still cannot get passed the intro screen that says "playground". It's been weeks...

One of the best games I have ever played, and I played the original RE games on PSX. This is a beautiful, and almost perfectly made, remake.

Even with the Denuvo, like Ubisoft games have, this game runs nearly flawlessly. The only minor issue it less RAM stacking so the SSD is flexed, and I drop from a 60fps lock to a 55 once in a long while for a split second. I play on MAX settings at 32" 1080p. Intel i5 4590K series, 32Gb RAM, 980ti 6GB, Windows7.
