I just finished Entropy: Zero 2 and immediately felt compelled to write a review.

This mod is so great it might as well be an official release by Valve, the quality is extremely high. From the writing to the level design to the voice acting... everything fits perfectly, is very well implemented and nothing feels out of place. This is probably the best Half-Life content not officially published / endorsed by Valve. Entropy: Zero (which I recommend playing first), released five years back, was already good, though relatively short and had plenty of room for improvement and further potential which Entropy: Zero 2 uses to the fullest.

This is a huge improvement and builds on a good foundation to make a truly great experience in every department. You will find everything you love about Half-Life here, even old enemies like Bullsquids are present along with unused beta content from Half-Life 2. It even improves aspects of Half-life 2 that are lacking by today's standards, such as the gunplay which is much improved here and feels just right. Most weapons are familiar, but there are a few new ones and new variants such as another variant of the Pulse Rifle at the end of the game.
This whole mod is fanservice done at its best in the most tasteful way possible.
