Responding to your comment on profile, yes I managed to fix everything by going into console command and changing my FOV that way.

So, finally back; old laptop died on me, so now I'm using an old optiplex 7010 I got on pcliquidations for my daily run. Actually runs GMod decently well, if I don't overload it with mods; could probably cheaply upgrade it for the better experience, but for now, it's actually a nice PC.
