Recently started a new playthrough on the 0.16 patch. Around 70 hours later (and did not even launch the rocket), I can say that Factorio never gets old. You can always improve or optimize your factory, set new goals or just wander around and kill Biters.
If you make it past the early game of running around and plucking holes in your production lines by moving items by hand, you will be already addicted.
