Fun game, frustrating at times, but all the more feeling of accomplishment when you finally find that last item.

Disgustingly hard, but all the more fun because of it. The animation of the game gives a nostalgic feel of the old animated shorts in the beginning of the 20th century, and is beautifully executed. The gameplay itself is easy to learn, hard to master, and the different levels bring something new and challenging every step of the way.

Life is strange is a beautiful and artistic game, where you control Max, who finds out she has the ability to manipulate time. When I started playing, it felt kind of hipster-y, but it quickly grew on me and made me realise it was not as pretentious as it may seem at first. The story grabs you and every episode makes you yearn for more.

The 5-episode approach made me wonder if Square Enix wasn't just copying Telltale, but I have to say they outshone their predecessor, even if you, as a player, are more distant, seeing as there are no quick time events. In a way, Life is Strange brought me back to Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. Whenever I dun goofed, I could just rewind time and try again.

The choices you make can have a big impact and many a time I found myself rewinding time to 'try out' every posibility before deciding on my final choice. I envy those who can start the game and binge all five episodes in a row, because the wait after each cliffhanger has been agonizing.

Thank you, Square Enix, for this amazing story and experience.

Proteus is part of the kind of experimental 'games' that keep popping up lately, in the same sence as Dear Esther and maybe even Gone Home. You wander around through some retro-gaming scenery, see some reactions to your presence (think about bunnies running away) and that's about it. There's no goal, no story, no beginning, no ending. I'd imagine most people regretting their decision to buy this. Unless you feel like taking a walk in nature, while being too lazy to get out the door, I would recommend skipping this one.

At first you start in a 2D-scroller adventure, and through discoveries such as colour, music, 3D and going left, you start expanding the game. It's great fun - I finished the game 100% in one day. Not because it's too easy (though there are definitely tougher games out there), but because I didn't want to stop. A lovely homage to classics as Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy VII and Dragon Quest.

The fact that this game is still going strong more than 5 years since release, should say plenty. Every time you play is different because of the variety in players and the tactics they decide to use at that time. It never bores.

This game is a visual novel, and taking at most 3~4 hours to complete, well worth your time and money. The game mechanics may be simple, but the story is what will grab you. Touching characters, beautiful music (especially the piano!), excellent graphics. I've still got goosebumps.

Awesome game! If you're into platforming (and maybe some comic gore), this is the game for you.

Awesome game! If you have not played this or its predecessor yet, you're missing out on a whole lot of fun gaming experience.

Fun platformer, takes about two hours to play through. You're a wimp if you don't try to complete Veni Vidi Vici.
