I bought the subscription for all the expansions, thinking my family member who was using the license I was not using, would be able to make use of it.

It does not work that way. You cannot share a subscription to the DLC. Strongly reconsidering buying any Paradox products going forwards, but I guess they got their $30.

I haven't played a shooter RPG type game since Fallout New Vegas. I don't really have much time for RPGs. I put 62 hours into Cyberpunk 2077, and I'm excited about Phantom Liberty, which I hope will make Keanu Reeves appear before me in real life!

This game is a ton of fun and well worth the money. You are in many ways buying a mecha anime visual novel with a strong interactive sub-game, so approach it that way rather than hoping for super-complex tactical problems, and you'll have fun.

My only complaint as of now is that I have not felt comfortable playing for several days due to the "Red 5 bug," which is apparently causing a number of other issues. I have put 30 hours into a save and I do not want to corrupt it. I would say that I would appreciate more communication on the topic and ideally an ETA on a patch, or the patch itself, to resolve that issue. While I am confident it will eventually be resolved, it is very frustrating to not be able to (comfortably) play a game for which I paid a premium price.

First time I've played a game in this genre but it's fun. However, they may want to get a native English speaker to do a pass on these audio narrations... I generally get the gist but I've gotten a couple of things wrong!

Pretty much the only reason not to play this game is "I prefer to do something other than play an action RPG game with good writing." If you DO want to do that thing, play this game.
