Early Access Review
Everything wrong with gaming.
Money hungry devs.
Go next.

It's like I'm drawn to playing mediocre, cash-grab, poorly advertised titty games that encourages you to sell your first born in order to play the game... Maybe if I was real desperate I'd continue playing this, but I'd honestly rather eat dirt coyotes pissed on after eating vomit left by a dude who only ate rat poop for 30 days straight.

I'd fully purchase cosmetics or even dlcs, I'm all for it, but when everything is locked behind a paywall with no ingame alternatives? XDXD? You could buy a premium fleshlight called FEELSLIKEAREALWOMAN9000 with the item costs in the store.

50 EUROS FOR A NUDE MOD

You do you.
I'm going next.

If you're looking for a grindy MMO that will entice you to submerge yourself, and your wallet, into it: look no further.

Good things about BDO:
Very good combat system

Graphics are outstanding in comparison to most, if not all, current MMOs out right now.

Very good time filler: If you have too much time, this is perfect for you. So many beautiful and overwhelming aspects of the game for new players.

Making friends is fun, simple and an important factor in enjoying the game.

Disadvantages about BDO:
The paywall:
There's a huge initial paywall to get into this game. Pets, costumes, value packs, inventory, weight... the list goes on.

Optimization:
Laggy, desyncy and poorly optimized for a game that's been published in multiple regions for more than 3 years.
Crashes. Nobody minds crashing but excessive crashing more than you'd like is annoying.
RBF (Red Battlefield) and OWPVP (Open world PvP) which are two of the most played activities in BDO in terms of PvP (outside of Node War and Siege- which aren't exluded from the list) cause you to crash.

P2W:
P2W is definitely a thing in this game. Regardless of what people want to tell you, this sh*t's P2W, hence the amount I've spent on it.

The excessive amount of RNG (Random number generator. Aka Luck):
The amount of RNG that has festered BDO is disgusting. PvP should be something largely influenced by skill, class and gear (in that order, in my opinion) not resistances.
Most people also have a huge dislike towards the enhancing system (gear progression)

Balance:
Well, it's an MMO and we all know what balancing can be like, but in BDO balance is as good as the reviews on the servers stability. Big oof.

Devs. disconnection to the general needs/wants of the playerbase:
Pretty much self-explained. The Devs. don't listen to the Western regions complaints about the game, especially if they're game-breaking.

At this point, it feels like we're a test server.
