XCOM or XCOM2 DLC for $10 would be a steal and this is a full ass game. If you're an XCOM vet, you'll definitely want to crank up some of the modifiers as this is MUCH easier than the other games on the default settings but I like a lot of the changes they've made.

The story is much smaller scale - saving a city rather than planets - and pretty predictable but I enjoy the 2D motion comic style of story telling.

Overall, for the price I'd say this is a must buy but with a HUGE caveat/warning: This game could definitely have used a little more time in QA. It's crashed on me twice and I've only been playing 4 hours - and it's NOT because it's a super intensive/complex experience compared to previous entries. Definitely fun enough for me to still enjoy and recommend beyond that single glaring flaw!

I use it to cast my computers to my TV - works on Mac too. Really nice to get work done in the living room or share stuff from my laptop on a bigger screen. Don't use it much to play steam games.

Definitely want to go ethernet over wifi.

Okay, let me start by saying that I loved the original version of this game on the Wii. My brother, then wife, and now kids all had fun playing with me.

But there's a SERIOUS optimization issue with this port. I have solid specs and can run GTAV maxxed out with no issues. I can throw any game on Ultra, with tons of mods if they're available... but no matter what I do, I cannot run this game in 1080p because it randomly lags out due to what I'm assuming are memory leaks.

If this game were hurting for "recommendations", I'd probably give it a "Yes" but this is an extremely annoying issue for me.

This game is as close to "The Perfect Zombie Game" as I've played. Base and player management is not something that you always expect to work well within a 3rd Person Shooter, but it definitely adds a level of personal investment into the game.

Overall, the game handles every portion of zombie fighting/survival management right: Sounds attract hordes, team mates can generally hold their own, supplies are low but managable, and death is handled excellently. When your player character dies, your group returns to the base and you automatically assume the role of another playable survivor, if one is living. Death means you lose that person FOREVER, but the game continues on (and saves automatically). It makes dying a SERIOUS deal - most modern games make death feel trivial. It is so impactful in this game, you might find yourself actually making consious decisions not to take risks you might take in other games because you don't want to lose all of the skills/items/time you've invested into developing a character.

I was pleasantly surprised by this game. I expected it to be "okay" but once you get a group of friends together, playing with or against each other, it becomes EXTREMELY fun. Much more fun that I had anticipated.

I DID get this game at a huge discount - I'm not sure if I would pay $15 for it, especially when much of the customizable content is locked behind paywalls, but I'm definitely not unsatisfied with the use of my $4.

The second game is 10x better, but this game is still loads of fun.

This game is essentially the only game I ever play online. Amazing. That is all.
