Those marketing guys really sucks as always...
They ♥♥♥♥ an impossible release date, which leads to release issues just like this one...

Most of the new games has similar issues and it will increase i'm afraid.
But why not eh? Because gamers like to pay for nothing at all.
Just make a name hype gamers and take the money, no quality or whatsoever necessary...

:: ATTENTION :: HUGE OPTIMIZATION ISSUES HERE ::
Well this was sad, I got 3080ti, 12GB GPU memory.
If i set the graphics to even medium it uses more than 12 GB GPU memory... ?? bro WTF ??

Since that's more than what i have, there are stutters and the game runs sucky.
So i've set everything to high and textures to low (only way to keep the GPU memory use below)

Guess what? The game looks awefull.
Really it's not an exaggeration, the game looks almost like TDU 2.
The reflections are pretty basic, so is the lighting.
Vehicle models are good ok but human models are same as skyrim (2011).
As a cherry on the pie, since i have to keep the texture on low to run smoothly the textures are awefull, I couldn't even stand to it; Pixels on the textures everywhere.
It doesn't look great while the graphics are set to high anyways.

I think that 3080ti should've run the game smoothly and get a decent graphics. Not everyone has the money to renew GPU every single year i guess.

I'm really sad to say that but this is just another balloon.

I'll refund and retry it in a huge discount. Maybe there will be some optimizations and improvements by then.

This is an insult to the pirate theme...
The only pirate in this game is Ubisoft.

Really, the value of this game is $5 at most.
You want to be a SHIP, slooooooowly sailing around for no good reason?
Walk in a tiny town and on empty shores from time to time?
Then this is your game, because that's basically all there is to do.
You can't even explore your own ship, let alone board others and sword fight...

There is no sword or gunfight in the game, just sea battles.
The sea battles are somewhat boring. No effort or strategy is required at all.
It felt like I was playing Tetris or something...
Just point and shoot, occasionally pressing R for extra damage or to finish off.
The story starts off so weak I didn't even care to see what’s next.
There are lots of mindless tasks to drag you around the map, making the game longer to finish.
Dude, even the launcher icon is terrible. WTH?

I guess they spent so much money on it, they couldn't cancel the project.
So they rushed to the end and wrapped it up as it is,
then released it to recoup some of the money spent on it.
The gaming community deserves much better than that attitude, in my opinion.

I don't even want to write about it.
Just watch an honest review video on YouTube and don't buy it!
This is the last time I buy a game before watching some review videos...

If you want to play a pirate game:
Download and play Age of Pirates 2: City of Abandoned Ships or AC IV: Black Flag if you haven't.

One of the few best RPG i've ever played.
World, Story, Graphics, Audio, Controls : Great.

Way to much bosses around and every single one of them are Awesome.

You drop your unused experience points if you die. Don't forget to pick them before you die again or it's gone for good.
Since you are not allowed to save your each step and there is possibility of losing unused experience;
The game is pretty hard at the begining but you get used to it quickly.

Your choices are effecting the outcome as well as your progress.
If you kill a nautral NPC it's gone for real.
If you attack em and they kill you they never forget. ( unless you perform a ritual )
You get the items of what you kill. Killing a soldier drops you specific item of that soldier, not some other random crap.
Real open world you can move all around freely after the first main boss.

Finding your path and understanding the story could be a bit challenging. Just use the web if you need.

Great game in short. Earns every single dollar i paid.

It's more like a soft RPG that focused on the story and the beautiful environment.

Not much to do once the story and the side quest are finished.
If your up for %100 achievements, that's another story.

World : 4 / 5 - The world is designed very well, fun to look at and to explore. Looks full with all the interactions. Actually it was so good, i couldn't get enough of it; Maybe that's why it feels like there could be more interactions and/or mini games.
Story : 4 / 5 - Story pulls you in and keeps you curious. MOST of your choices are not a big deal. There are some important ones of course.
Side Quests 4 / 5 : Most of them are fun and rewarding enough.
Graphics : 4 / 5 - Very good, matches the atmosphere. The optimization could be a bit better though.
Audio : 4.5 / 5 - Sfx and dialogs are satisfying. Player reactions could evolve as you get more powerful.
Controls : 5 / 5 - No issue there, in my opinion you get a grasp to it easy enough.

This game is awesome... I'll try to explain without exaggeration.
No matter what kind of VR you have you need this game in your library.
Graphics are simple yet wont bother, it really fits the atmosphere and look fine in a funny way.
You can play with AI, other players or with your friends.
Every single game has very well thought incredible easy to use controls so you can focus on having fun rather then strangling with controls.
Even if you're an advanced VR player and you're quick to learn the controls, this game game is something else.
Even if the game was 2 times expensive it would really worth it. That's how good it is.

Whether you like strategy games or not; This game is awesome and a must play just for the story!

First of all it's singleplayer only. The world is about to freeze for good and you rule one of the few group of people left alive.
You have to manage the heat distribution carefully, gather resources search and rescue other survivors and build the city piece by piece.

Also the group of people you rule are not robots so you have manage their emotions too. There are sets of rules you can establish, each effects the playthrough and the events prepared for the story. Graphics and SFX pretty good too.

Just try it you won't regret!

First of all it rains like hell!
When i got out of garage and drive around a minute or jump into a race: BAM! it rains again...
Actually the rain looks great and doesn't disturb the race at all but it's just weird to play a game that rains all the time :D

That's being told:
* GRAPHICS are gorgeous. ( I'm playing on Nvidia 1060 Laptop with 60fps )
* AUDIO FX are great, they really fit to the scene and enjoying.
* DRIVING is a bit different then other games but I liked it very much.
You can drift around the corners at very high speed when you grasp it.
* BUG are negligible. ( Although they ruined my race one or two times. )
* MUSICS are... I don't know I was expecting more. a few soundtrack is really great and fits the atmosphere. But the rest is total crap. Could have been very much better.
* STORY has the size of a BANANA... i kinda liked it... but it's too short to accept.
Guess the company gathered a few good writers and told em to pull out a story in a night.
For the god shake it's not a PVP game... you need a good story there...
You can't make a game with 4 hours of story gameplay.
We pay for this... that's just insulting.
* POLICE chases are fun. I just liked the damage and repair system. Although they are way too weak during the day...
* RACE AMOUNT is plenty. Lots of races you can enjoy.
* RACE VARIETY is poor. Not many types of races. Although they are fun...
* VEHICLE VARIETY is plenty. But i didn't had to use more then 3 of them...
There are lots of trash cars and lots of duplicated high-end cars with minor differences... Nonsense...
* COLLECTIBLES & CHALLENGES are a lot and fun. In fact they are an important part my up vote. I like collecting things and clearing out the map.

Overall if you like racing games and the look of it from the pictures; buy it with a discount.
Finish the story have some fun around build up few cars and be done with it!
It seems to me the company build a base game with a potential that can be a hit.
But they decided to wrap it up and quickly release it to get some juicy money fast.
That's a 51/100 for me.

Great game!
- Beautiful graphics.
- Wide & detailed map.
- Variety of skills & weapons.
- Enjoyed the quests & the arena events.

- "The Hidden Ones" expension is a bit rushed and pretty empty. You won't miss anything there if you choose to not buy it.
- "The Curse of the Pharoah" is pretty fun espesially the after-life part.

Will you please bring the game back. I'm crying silently in my bed every night...

Please find a way to earn enough money and get the game back...
I don't care if i have to pay the price again.
Just get it back please.
