Tis preeeetty goooood

Been playing since Dead by Daylight first came out. This is the best paid Chapter they ever released, IMO.

At least it is easily worth it, everything is fun from the killer to the perks.

Had high expectations for the game, It met every single one of them.

I don't really understand where some negative reviews come from, the game has flaws for sure, it's not a complete masterpiece, even still.
I see people complaining about combat, I find it fun actually. Assassin's Creed Origin's was overall really well received and I find Vampyr's combat far superior for example, and gosh way more interesting.
Natarrive wise, it's a slow burn that has me invested. The game gets better in the later stages I can say that.

My gripes are mainly with some UI such as crafting and upgrading and lack of dificulty even when being underleveled. I found that I had to fight someone (or something!) about 10 levels higher than me to consider it dificult, but of course this is personal and it will change from person to person.
The citizen network is wonderful feature although not as "immersive" or complete as say the Nemesis system in Shadow of Mordor, which I find it somewhat comparable.

It's very highly natarrive focused, so please have this in mind, you will be talking most of the time, which thankfuly most of that time it is engaging due to interesting characters (with some exceptions).

Honestly it's great, no problem recommending this one at all if you want a narrative gothic RPG, fantastic.

EDIT: After a second playthrough with the new hard mode, Vampyr has without a doubt earned a place among my favourite video games ever. I love it and very well done Dontnod, you've earned a fan

Pretty good job so far

Get a friend to play this, it's absolutely worth it. I got really immersed with it's atmosphere and it's free, no reason not to.

Some puzzles were tougher than others, but all pretty good.

Loved it, wished for more! Awesome ending too :)

Alright this is a tricky one. Admitidally I jumped on the hype train for this one aaand let's say I had alot of fun the first few hours but it got old pretty fast and now it's a game I have with no desire to boot it.
For what those hours were worth it was pretty fun tho, I'm still gonna say positive, but note that it might get old fast.
So if you are looking for a game to spend hours upon hours on it, it still depends on the person but it didn't made it for me. If you are however looking for some hours of fun, you're in for a treat it's pretty cool for that.

I'm so happy I got this and I was in doubt. The game is short, but honestly I felt that it was made to be short and it is how the game is great, the real strong point is the narrative and the story, it is brilliant with a great ending.
Overall it's a great short game that will stay in your head for quite a while and it does have some replayability with arcade modes, duel modes (which are awesome btw) and well harder difficulties.
Also there seems to be two endings aswell so that adds up to replayability if you wanna see it all.
To this day I still remember the characters and no other game made me want collectibles like Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, they actually provide historical information that I spent quite some time and actually wanted to obtain them all to obtain some real knowledge.

If you are thinking about getting it, get it, it is worth every penny and you'll be in for an amazing story to stick.

Tons of fun and it is actually scary. Awesome, get it.

Secret Ponchos...
This game surprised me out of the blue. It is and old west kinda stickfigure shooter, and my god it is amazing. I would no doubt recommend this game to anyone, it has alot of depth, the matches are intense and the skill ceiling on this game is high as balls. I heard about the competitive side of Secret Ponchos had an astonishing potential and I kinda doubted it. Well it has.
If you like the amazing aesthetic this has to offer, old wild west appeals to you you should get this game for some Outlaw intense experience matches.

Now I wish everything in this review was positive, I really really did because the game blew me away in surprise and sucked me in. But there is a big negative here and it is the community. People here are the friendliest I've ever seen in any game in years, but it is really really small.. If you are a late night time player, the sad truth at the moment is that you might not get any matches at all.. It takes sometimes a really long time to find a match, fortunatly because of this people tend to stick with each other after the match, so in my experience when you find one you are pretty much set and the next matches will be quick if not instant since the game gives you a rematch option.

It boggles my mind how the player base is so small for this amazing game, it really really REALLY deserves so much more. I could honestly see this game with a strong viewership on twitch for example it has that potential.
I'd say this happened because of the poor advertising and proprer word spreading of the game. From my understanding this game has been in early acess for at least an year I think? And I've never heard of it. Ever. I can't see any place other than a very very small percentage of youtubers that make a few videos here and there to Secret Ponchos where I would find this game.

Now I've been going to forums and the developers are aware and are going to implement features, possibly changing the "rules" for a bigger player base so there is hope since the developers are actually pretty active with the community it seems.

So honestly, I wish I could be a ♥♥♥♥ and not say this negative side just so more people would buy and the playerbase to grow, but I can't be that ♥♥♥♥. Would and do I still recommend it? YES. When you get a match is amazing, and since the game is NOT abandoned by any means witha ctive developers announcing they are going to further look and fix this issue I would say it is still a relative safe bet. Because honestly I know the developers know they made an amazing game. I know it is an amazing game and the fault I would put in very poor advertising. This game is a hidden gem, you just don't hear it anywhere.
If you like it get it, contribute to the playerbase, and rest assured the developers are here and not abandoning ship!

Sorry for the long rant

This game has alot of negative reviews, played it from early access and it was very good to see an early access sucess. Seems those are rare.
I think most of the negative reviews come from people who played War of the Roses (previous game), I haven't played it tho, to be completely honest I didn't even know it existed before playing War of the Vikings, so my view on it might be different because of that.
I really enjoyed this game, played quite a bit and to me it's a pretty cool solid medieval combat game. I think the berserker patch ruined it a little bit tho. Berserkers seem off, seem like they are kind of those uninvited guests that everyone has to deal with because their mechanics are really different from the core challenge and mechanics of the game. Still is a solid pick in my humblest opinion.

I haven't played War of the Roses so take this with a grain of salt, but from what I've seen and read, if you come from that game this is apparently a downgrade and simplified version which you probably wont like.
Ignoring that fact tho and seeing it as a standalone tittle, this is pretty fun! Plus if you like the whole Viking nord aesthetic and feel, for sure!
Also bear in mind that the community is for the most part dead at this point sadly. Haven't played it in a while, but it already was the case, there is still a couple full-ish servers most of the time, but don't expect a large community.
