The schitzophrenia / psychosis is done very well. Play this game with headphones!
This is not an action game per se, but you need some fighting skills to get past the occasional enemies and those fights can be very intense in a good way.
I really like how the story unfolds in a shattered way, fits well with the overall theme of the game and the state the main character is in.
Great visuals too.

+ Fresh and vivid graphics. Way brighter than most RPGs, which is a good change.
+ Lots of freedom. You can throw stuff around and experiment with the different elements.
+ Fights can be challenging but are never impossible.
+/- Humor. I had to get used to the silly things, like the sneaking animation. But it adds to the 'freshness' of the game.
