A perfect match for someone who loves restarting their colony/city builder games. I like the mechanic that wipes the whole map clean after some amount of game time has passed so it makes it enjoyable to experiment a bit. The different modifiers that are in effect for each session changes things up also, so each play through can be a little different. Some settlements may not have access to certain resources, so it also helps to try out other production chains and integrate different buildings.

Overall, an excellent blending of genres, and definitely worth checking out

Well balanced overall, numerous different builds that can be winners with each clan. It's always fun to try to figure out how to make your starting deck work for you. The daily challenges add a nice bit of variety for popping in to try something a little different

Simple mechanics, but plenty of fun to be had for the price of admission. A bit of a bullet hell type game, but you only need concern yourself with maneuvering your character safely through the swarms of enemies, as your armaments fire automatically.

Lots of things to unlock hits that "one more run" itch nicely

I feel like everything except the actual gameplay is excellent. Good music, fun dialogue, interesting environments, but then a mission would start and the enjoyment would pretty much stop.

Anything involving hack and slash is just run up and button mash for a bit. Occasionally you or maybe an ally would die and you lose?
The RTS missions are frustrating. Hard to tell what your units are doing (and sometimes even figuring out where they are is a chore).

I was going to try to finish the main story line at least, but realized I wasn't really looking forward to that, so this one unfortunately will end up in the DNF folder

Great device for posting up on the couch and playing a game on the big screen. I find it perfect for a large number of games. Wouldn't play something requiring twitch reflexes, but for a good story game or RPG, I've highly enjoyed it. Easy to set up, and quality is great.

Steam Link is wired into the router, and my PC is connected over wireless. Do yourself a favor and get a higher end router so you can prioritize the Steam Link traffic

I'd buy that for a dollar
