This needs to be in the oven a tad longer. Mobility on many characters is lacking while others are ultra mobile. Balance seems off and many ultimate abilities don't require aiming or skill. An example is star-lords auto aim ult. There are ultimate's that affect you in a quick time frame which is fine but for characters without mobility this is an instant death. projectile speed varies wildly depending on who you play. Punisher, star-lord, hawkeye all have near hit scan or hit scan projectiles while moon knight, hulk, just to name a few have slow moving projectiles. Map design is narrow with little leeway on avenues of approach. There seems to be a distinct lack of CC to punish mobile characters with the only stuns I have experienced being from dr. strange's ult or scarlet witch. Slows are not punishing as characters can still jump, use abilities to run etc. Meaning slows are easily button pressed away.

in short, there needs to be adjustments. If this was a paid product the reviews would reflect a more accurate representation, but this is a free title and as such makes complaint less likely.

some helpful changes are:
-Make all characters hit scan unless the projectile is a core element of their kit. (Squirrel Girl) this will help with killing small hit box characters who can sustain themselves almost indefinitely.
-Add CC to the game to punish over extending into the enemy team and generally over aggressive play.
-Make ultimates require skill and aim instead of auto aim.
-Nothing in the game should be an instant kill, always allow players some chance to turn the tide.
-Mouse acceleration should be a toggle feature
-The third person perspective altering one's aim should be addressed if possible as it is not intuitive to how one should aim
-Lastly ultimate abilities with large ground based AOE's should be reduced to another format as many characters utilize the same mechanic and it makes gameplay feel un-diverse. (not all characters but some should be redesigned)

Until the developers alter their ideology towards balancing and start to make consistent improvements that lead to the players having fun and not feeling like I need to bring the same four loadouts everytime in order to survive and kill my enemies then this review will remain negative.

escalation of freedom was a overyhyped update with little to no impactful content changes despite being advertised as the biggest update yet. Fire damage being nerfed right before a fire based warbond was the worst decision made thus far. These balance changes make sense for a PvP game, but for PvE game focused on player enjoyment these changes make no sense. This game's level of fun has had a down hill trendline with garnishings of disappointment so frequent that I raise an eyebrow each time they announce something "good". Do better Arrowhead these updates have ruined a once great title. Focus on player enjoyment and leave the usage statistics at home where they belong.

at one point I had a gleaming review for this game. Shame.

I love this game especially with the new additions and update. Also now that the peer to peer connectivity is better.

This game is a fun and atmospheric game to play in PvE. I did not play the PvP, full disclosure, so my thoughts and opinions will be on the PvE.

I altered the settings to have my preferred level of difficulty and convenience and I love playing this game. I listen to all the eerie tracks from the Witcher 3s blood and wine and build my vampire castle in peace.

The boss fights can get crazy and I love the process of hunting them down. I would prefer if they scaled to your gear level to keep the fights difficult.

If you're a fan of base building, farming, and want a game to scratch that itch with a bitore combat that expected for games such as this then V-rising is worth a try.

This game is awesome and once the roadmap is complete I'll have zero complaints. Currently my only issue is a lack of end game however that is on their roadmap so patience people!

This game is action packed with fluid combat and a wonderful art style. I personally love the aesthetic of it and find the tone of the game to be very artistic. It reminds me of these games all mashed together in some form; darkest dungeon, borderlands, diablo, and V-rising all mashed together creating and truly unique game.

I personally love that characters are complex in their kits and require thought on how to use them best. Even characters such as Beowulf who should be a simple brawler has a layer of complexity with his trait interactions.

If you want an affordable, fun, and replayable game to play with up to 3 other friends (4 people total) then get ravenswatch. Especially if you're a fan of the genre.

An artistic and eerie tale into a Lovecraft style journey of fish, dark forces, and things lost to time...

Definitely recommend this game, I had a blast, and it took me my playtime to 100% the game (sans collecting every fish in the game).

Aside from the many early access bugs that a person can encounter this game is a crazy fun experience.

This is an adrenaline fueled, guns blazing, and refreshing game with a lot of potential. More content, more guns, more diverse equipment, and different bug types would be great additions for future patches. As is I am having a lot of fun with the content on offer and its not that much content currently. However it is fun and engaging and I enjoy it. I'd recommend it highly especially at the price point it is at.
