I'm very compelled to write this review since i keep seeing people complaining about the game. In my 10 hours of gameplay i have never seen people that openly want to kill me, they are either skeptical of me or they do warning shots and not pursue. While this game is PvP enabled all the time that means you need to be aware that ANYONE can kill you, but mostly people wont, if you kill people expecting a free meal then game will start putting you in map seeds filled with PvP prone players and if you can't stand fighting a fair fight, simply don't kill other Drifters.

Now for some bad points about the game, Performance. My PC is way above Recommended Specs and i'm getting fps drops and struggle to get maximum fps for a game that really not much is happening most of the time. Also i wish that Magus Skill was swappable for Ingame money not REAL MONEY, that is awful, maybe later you can get more Maguses but for now if you try out a skill and don't like it, too bad, better waste that ticket or buy another one.

For end notes id like to say this again this is a PvP enabled game, if you don't like that simply do not purchase the game.

Edit: Introduction of combined zones made this game unplayable, you find bounty players all the time with Jackboxes sniping you from 2000meters with their sniper killing you in instant. Rebalance the game. Not to mention since map is now twice as big, doing any quest is a coin toss if you can get there in time to do anything and go back to appointed elevator for you to get back with, as of now i cannot recommend this game, and will wait for either its death or revival.

Pretty okay game but it has no end goal. Also the co-op is kinda buggy and needs couple of restarts when playing.

Overwatch 2 promised a lot but has ultimately failed to deliver on its lofty ambitions. As a long-time fan of the original Overwatch, I can’t help but feel let down by the changes and the direction Blizzard has taken with this sequel.

One of the most significant changes was reducing team sizes from 6v6 to 5v5. This shift fundamentally altered the dynamic of the game. Tanks, which used to be the cornerstone of team strategies, now feel either overpowered or completely out of sync with the rest of the team. The change was likely made to simplify gameplay, but it’s left the game feeling less cohesive and more chaotic, especially for players who enjoyed the intricate teamwork of the original.

The shop system in Overwatch 2 is another sore spot. Gone are the days of earning loot boxes through gameplay. Instead, the game now revolves around an aggressive microtransaction model. Skins and other cosmetics are locked behind exorbitant paywalls, making it feel like Blizzard cares more about squeezing money out of players than fostering a fun and rewarding experience. It’s disheartening to see a once-player-friendly system replaced with something so blatantly predatory.

The biggest disappointment, however, is the outright failure to deliver on the promised PvE content. When Overwatch 2 was announced, Blizzard hyped up an ambitious PvE mode that would expand the story and give players a whole new way to engage with the game. This mode was supposed to be a cornerstone of the sequel, yet what we received was a watered-down, one-off experience that lacks depth or replayability. To add insult to injury, Blizzard has monetized this limited PvE content, further alienating fans who expected it to be a core part of the game.

Ultimately, Overwatch 2 feels like a step backward. The changes to team structure, the exploitative shop system, and the broken promises of new PvE content make it hard to recommend. It’s a frustrating experience that tarnishes the legacy of what was once one of the best multiplayer games around. Blizzard needs to do better if they want to win back the trust of their community.

Bought on a 50% sale, still not worth it. Imagine a boring roguelite shooting game but give it a very confusing to aim and move Isometric view, impossible to kill enemy that chases you before you explore whole level just like in Spelunky but gives you way less time, every level is simply find key -> find boss door -> shoot boss until it dies. Maybe 10 years ago this game would be interesting, but not in current decade.

Great idea on paper, awful execution. You will wait forever for matchmaking because most people left the game, when you finally get to the game its filled with veterans that have 3 digit levels and you will simply lose and get confused what is going on.
Do. Not. Buy.

Good job, you updated the game and the Minimum Requirements locking me from BASE GAME. I ran perfectly fine with my settings on Base and i refuse to believe i suddenly have to buy a new setup just to play this Switch Port.

Really wanted to like this game, love the setting and aesthetic but game ultimately falls down on basic game flow of Stealth then Brawl since enemy AI is a no threat, you don't get punished enough for going loud and Sheriff is just Jason from Friday the 13th that slowly approaches you and chokes you to death.

Not to mention totally missed opportunity to create next Spy vs Mercs game with Robin Hood with Merry Gang vs Sheriff and his Lackeys, i have no idea if they were afraid of creating asymmetrical game or simply ran out of budget.

Finally to say, game has potential but gets extremely boring and its nothing like it was promised from trailers, every progression is either Perks or cosmetics that you will quickly get and you have nothing else to do, i cannot recommend thatgame to anyone at its current state.
