It makes me not want to play the game.

Poor optimization, horrible fov, even in 3rd person, awful mouse acceleration, post-release micro transactions. What a fall from grace this really is.

Still has performance issues (OC'd 2600 + 2080). The worst part is the stutter will only really show up once you get past the prologue planet which will likely take you over the 2 hour window for a refund.

Crashed and locked my PC. Even a game this old. I'm stuck with it now, you don't have to be. It's not worth it even on sale.

It's just dull. A very 1 dimensional game, with a nice aesthetic, but it doesn't carry the gameplay enough to be worth the cost price.

Maybe down the line it'll be worth it, but right now? No.

However, this is, by far and away, the best HP universe game ever made. It's fantastic. The detail and size of the castle, the attention to detail in the lore, the characters are great, the story is intriguing, the combat (on hard at least) is fun and challenging.

I love it. Performance issues can be fixed. I have experienced two bugs in the game so far. One a minor visual bug during the intro, and one crash to desktop that didn't repeat when the game reloaded. The game is very forgiving with auto saves so almost no progress was lost.

If you love the HP universe and ever wanted to play your own story at hogwarts, buy the game. If you're not too fussed about the HP universe, wait for the performance issues to be fixed, and then enjoy a really well crafted action game in a really well built world.

There are server issues and control issues but it's hard to take the fun out of beating a man to death with a wooden box. If you can get it on one of the semi-frequent 40% sales it's definitely worth a buy.

Feels like walking through mud while being punched in the face. Waiting at a menu is not good gameplay. If you really have to, do not buy at full price, it's certainly not worth it.

Abandoned for six years with sporadic twitter updates, none of those make it into the game but what does happen is inflated grind for no reason, making the gameplay "loop" an actual loop where your items get trashed and you have to start over with 0.3m more brightness on your lamp. All because you DARED to explore in a game about exploration.

The best option is obviously to go into hiding when your terrible game gets terrible reviews. Congrats.

Great game, the problem is the player base. Every sever is a 50/50 chance to encounter racial slurs, or some other offensive content. I don't know why such lowlifes are attracted to this game. It doesn't help that the "pro" scene perpetuates this level of toxicity. It trickles down into the player base and people think it's okay.

There are few games quite as needlessly toxic as mordhau. It's a real shame, the game could have been a runaway success.
