Best fromsoft game overall if you only care about the pve, it's a real masterpiece, BUT if like me you mostly care about pvp, it has the same issues as the last few games (mainly netcode), and it seems like the balancing completely disregards pvp. The multiplayer experience is a huge step down from DS2 and DS3.

There are no covenants, and the invasion system is the worst i've seen with invasions being harder to find even with 50 thousand online players, in comparison to dark souls 3 with 12 thousand players. No "wex dust" invading option is insane.

The lack of regular solo invasions hurts everyone, since there are way too few worlds to invade, invaders have to wait for several minutes to find one, and the few players playing coop are invaded constantly, making the game even harder than it should be at early levels. Invasions were nowhere near as constant in older titles, and this is due to the lack of solo invasions, and the invasion cooldown being badly tuned.

The network connection seems worse than dark souls 3, with constant network errors disconnecting players. After so many "souls" titles, why give so little regard to the netcode?

I'm very disappointed as a pvp centric player. Still, it's a pretty good game.

Very early access, many bugs, and some features are missing, but it's plain to see all the work they've put into the foundations of the game, especially the engine. The battles and sieges are amazing, the gameworld feels alive and consistent, with the NPC lords playing by the same rules as the players.

The company workin on the game is trustworthy and commited, and it shows, seeing as they've released 7 patches through this first week of early access.
