Update: They've now release X3 2.0 and the reviews seem pretty decent. I think I'll reinstall and give it another spin.

I noticed X3 Rebirth is on your wish list. DON'T GET IT! I bought it and was expecting Elite with better graphics and story but was bitterly disappointed. The reviews are spot on.
