Beautiful artstyle combined with great melee mechanics.

One (small) downside is that the game expects you to play quests in a certain order, for example:
The game will KILL you for going to places it doesn't expect you to go until you reach a mission. Or some NPCs will not spawn in until you hit the right point in a quest.
The quest design is very different from The Witcher 3 and Baldurs Gate 3 and it's honestly kindof annoying to have such a rigid quest script.

Fun game to swing with webs around the city. I'm not a huge fan of the story, but it was still enjoyable. Recommeded to get on a sale

This is one of the very few games I bought at full price (and at launch) and it is very much worth it.

Tool me about 115 hours for me first playthrough and I did the majority of the quests. There were a few bugs, but not many considering the size of the game. The ones I encountered are already patches now.

This is the first Resident Evil game that I've played.
I really enjoyed in "on rails" expierence throughout the game, I personally haven't played many of those game types.

The world is well designed and there are a lot of nice looking locations. I'm surprised the game runs this well with the visual quality that you get for it.

I wouldn't recommended trying to get 100% achievements, but I would certainly recommened you play at least 1 playthrough.

A game with a wonderfull world with many connected quests/interactions.
There's just so much high quality content to do and stories to explore.

I couldn't recommend it enough to everyone that enjoys story driven games.

I spend about 130-140 hours on a single playthrough with all the DLC.

TOTAL WAR COMMUNITY

As of June 2024 the game has had a fair few race rework / updates which was definitely needed and all of them changed their respective race for the better. There are noticeably less bugs than at the launch of the game.

The game does need to adres some core gameplay issues, mainly the AI:

It's incompetent when it comes to many battles (both siege and land battles). The AI also doesn't put up a good fight in the later stage of the game (turn 80-100+). This is mainly due to the AI not confederating and forming large empires, it's very easy to destory a faction that only has 20-30 settelements while you have 80+ at this point.

The game overall is in a decent state, and I do enjoy playing it.

The story isn't great, but the game does have many other positieve points:
- It's well optimised
- Great graphics
- Extensive list of options (a great PS port)
- Good sound design
- Awesome horde fighting gameplay
- Rewarding crafting/looting mechanic

The feeling of panic when you accidentally run into your first horde isn't something that I've experienced in other games.
Play this game for the gameplay seems interesting to you, because the story is not it's strongest point.

This DLC is a good addition to Shadow of War.

It starts out as a real challenge due to the lack of gear and skills at the start.
It's fun to try and find different strategies for the fights because your death has more meaning.

The only downside is the price, it's not worth €20,-
Wait for a sale or buy it elsewhere.

This game gives me motion sickness very quickly when flying around the planets.

Unfortunately it's a waste of money for me.

- Audio issues since launch
- Inconsistent servers

These are some major flaws which don't get fixed and they're still happy to charge you 10$ for a holo spray...
