Dead Space is a great game. It has a solid story, scary atmosphere and is overall a game I'd play again. However, I had several issues with the game and how it ran. Right off the bat, in one of the first doors there was a glitch which required me to do research and figure out the problem. Another glitch happened when in zero gravity mode. I would leap to an area and freeze, then die randomly. The only way to solve these issues is to make sure v-sync is enabled in both the game itself and under nvidia control panel. Another complaint is how Steam does not have achievements or a badge for both DS1 AND DS2. So overall the game itself is a classic and a masterpiece, but Steam did a terrible job with the port on here.
