I bought this game on launch. It was spectacularly middling in every regard, with broken AI, boring quests, and terrible performance. Now I find out that they've gone after a small studio and had the game MISERY taken down due to some nonsense. I feel ashamed for ever supporting this company, and I swear I will never spend a single penny on another one of their games. Profoundly disappointing...

I loved this game as a kid and was super excited when i found out it was going to be remade. At first I was worried that the gameplay would feel dated or clunky due to it being so old, but I was genuinely surprised at the quality of pretty much everything in this game. The NPC models have been updated really nicely and the new engine makes ragdolling a farmer across the town really fun. The maps are really fun and each area has entertaining dialog. I never fully appreciated this game as a kid but now it's really made an impression on me.

If you're looking for a fun way of killing 10 hours and relive your childhood, then this is a great game.

This game had so much promise. The community was amazing and the modding scene was great. Unfortunately, Bethesda has turned into a greedy, terrible company and has introduced the "Creation Club". It's simply mods that you're paying them to "instal" for you. It's a sham. Rather than improve on their engine and performance, they'd rather go the route of terrible business practices that ensures they'll lose the business of the very same people who have supported them for over a decade.


Shame on you, Bethesda. You're not fooling anyone with this Creator Club/Paid Mods money grab. It was fun while it lasted, but I can no longer support a company that doesn't care about it's community.

Surprisingly really fun! I was worried about getting this, my buddy Jraw kept bugging me to buy it because he and his brother played it and said it was great. I was burned by DayZ, my biggest buyers remorse I've ever experienced in my entire life, so I was worried about supporting another clone of it, especially since it was still early access.

As it is, the game feels about 70% complete, but it runs fine and is super fun! It's like all the good parts of DayZ, but in an actual functioning game. Unlike those lying theives over at Bohemia Interactive. This game has restored my faith in early access games, at least temporarily.

I wanted to play it, so I installed it and guess what? GFWL wouldn't let me play. I tried looking in the forums for a fix but all the links are deleted. Great. Waste of money.

Have you ever thought to yourself, "Gee, PC gaming sure is great with mods and all, but I wish there was a way I could pay for modified content from other users."? Well now you can!

Seriously though, what the hell was Valve thinking?!

This game is, and I'm being 100% serious when I say this, the worst PC FPS I've ever played. The whole thing is extremely broken and uninspired. Americas Army was made by the UNITED STATES ARMY for christs sake, and yet they somehow managed to make a F2P game 100x better than Combat Arms.

Combat Arms is so bad it's an insult to PC gaming as well as to the F2P genre.

Thank god they're rebooting this game. The first day will be like all the next days. Spawn, get supplies, build ♥♥♥♥♥♥ fort, get greifed by people playing longer than you with greater numbers, spawn, get lost, get supplies, build ♥♥♥♥♥♥ fort, etc.


Cool idea, but thank god they're going in a new direction. The guns thing was a bit weird too. If you're out in the middle of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ no where, why/how are you able to craft a machine gun out of broken rocks so long as you have the schematic? Why would it be so easy to reach a certain level where you're basically playing COD vs. minecraft.

Once they reboot the game and smooth out the feel and figure out what they want with it, I might change my review. Until then I would just wait and see what they do, which honestly looks very promising.

I ran into a group of people who told me to lay down, take off my pants, and asked me if I had any ammo. When I told them I had a few 9mm rounds they replied "good". They dropped a can of spegettios in front of my face and ran off.

11/10, would strip again.

This was aweful. The combat is broken, the servers are awful, and the movement is horrible. Save your time, just skip it.
