Not Initially Great, granted extremely realistic.

Used to play this game a lot, both on my RotMG account and my Steam account (never used Kongregate, guess that makes me weird). Used to be great, but ruined by pay-to-win. Items are also worth next to nothing now. I just logged on, as a level 1 assassin and some random gave me tier 11 armor and a para def ring, items which used to be very valuable. Add that to the fact that almost nobody is on anymore, except for the pro players and bots. I remember when my shield of Ogmur was worth $20 in real life money and there were actually people willing to pay it, now it seems nothing is worth anything. Not that Kabam really cares.

Well I actually haven't played it yet. You see, I suffer from a rare medical condition called "having a Macbook". It's very expensive to treat, as most medicine is incompatible (no matter how much Wine I wash it down with). Other side effects include being allergic to windows, and inability to run sometimes.

But if you can run it, definitely get this game. Especially now that Ubisoft done ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up with Unity, I expect a lot of people to be buying Black Flag (although I don't know what kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ withholds buying a game to wait for a sequel when it's a story-driven series, but that seems to be happening). And with Unity being the last Assassin's Creed game*, if they end up not fixing the bugs, Black Flag could be all we have.


*until Ubisoft listens to the advice of 10 year old me and releases Lego Assassin's Creed
