The last time I was blown away by a game like I am being blown away by BG3 was "Ultima 4 - Quest of the Avatar". I was hoping for many years that an RPG that would as much inspire and consume me again, and honestly haven't really believed I would see another one.

BG3 is a masterpiece. On top of that very fairly priced, no always-on nonsense or any of the other marketing and cash-grab related mechanisms the gaming industry and us customers are being pestered with by that army of untalented enterprises and wanna-be game designers out there. Also, BG3 runs flawlessly not only on my PC but also on my Steam Deck, and I have already enjoyed several hours of sitting outside and playing this awesome game - what a treat!

If I had to choose one game that I could have played for the past decade, I would pick this one.

Ubisoft Connect - the pile of software crap that should have gotten the entire management team, including their CEO, fired.

Some solid 20 to 25 hours of fun and relaxing gaming if you don't rush it. It's one of these games where you wish there as a lot more because the atmosphere is great and the game mechanics simply work.

I enjoyed my time, and I do look forward for more content, hopefully with way more building options. :)

Fresh wind in the park sim genre. Not as good as market leaders yet, but with a lot of potential. Please fix the bugs, please deliver more content, and this can become a real hit. Already fun though for shorter sessions.

If you are somebody who wants a polished game when it releases, skip for now (and good luck finding that in 2023), but if you don't mind and can oversee a bunch of bugs and still have fun with a game, then there's no reason to wait. I'll continue playing it.

Unoptimized console trash. Go home, EA. Refunded.

I backed the game very early on Kickstarter, I played all Alphas und Betas. Not the few hours you see no Steam, but literally thousands of hours. Including the idle or chatting times probably already ten thousand+.

I was probably complaining more about this game and NovaQuark than most other players, and I have probably been investing more time than I actually want to admit. I built bases, ships, spacestations, built up a ship design and sales business, developed one of the probably most used scripts in the game (you can code in LUA with an EXTENSIVE API provided through the game, display data on monitors, code spaceship HUDs, create control centers overseen entire industries, etc.), I have mined, traded, and had insane fun with the many very nice and kind people in the game.

I have loved the game, I had hopes, I have left it twice and have returned to it twice.

This game is terribly hard to learn and even harder to master. It's more of a sandbox than a game and still you have so much more to do than in most other sandboxes I have seen. It gives you a second home to built up your empire. And yes, currently it's emptier than in the first years in which we had huge ship exhibitions with hundreds of amazing designs, probably the best community moments I ever had in any game. But it's still all there, it's still amazing.

The current average review of "Very Negative" comes from two types of people: (a) the ones who waited for years for things to materialize they had hoped for, and (b) the ones who think it's one of the other dodo-lego-games in which you get immediate gratification. This game is hard. And it lacks many things, while it likewise provides more already than most other games out there.

Yes, I hate Dual Universe for many things it is not, but the love I feel because of what actually it, is bigger. It's a gaming experience of a lifetime, and it doesn't deserve to die.

You hate the game because it costs a subscription? You know what? Stop reading and continue to enjoy your boring Netflix subscription if that's what you prefer. Dual Universe is worth the money, and once you played for 2, 4, 6, 12 months, you will think: "What? All of this fun I had only costed a hundred bucks? Hell, yes!"

Wonderful, beautiful, what a joy! Masterfully crafted world, so much love for detail, such a wonderful atmosphere. The game itself: relaxing and fun. I love it!

Buy it if you don't own a potato PC. Yes, this will be more optimized in 6 months for them. Yes, if you have a normal midsized gaming rig like myself, you can play this just fine. I play it on ultra on a resolution of 5120x1440 without any issues at all. And if you own a potato PC, well, your fault, then buy it in 6 months.

Finally, finally, finally! :) One of the best games ever made, I would have paid 10 times the price for it, too.

It's quite entertaining if you give it a chance. Definitely something for pvpers and pve group players, some bosses are insanely hard (broken hard) solo. I wish there was an option in the config to tune down bosses or specific bosses a bit (just as I wish I could bump up trash mob damage as it's comparably super low).

For an early access this definitely deserves a thumbs-up, for a release it's not polished and balanced enough for my taste.

LOL, holy cow, this is beyond impressive. And with Unity? Lol, I just witnessed a perfectly animated battle with 300.000 units visible on the battlefield in a resolution of 5120x1440. How sick can a tech demo be, and can we have a game around it please! :)
