This is once again a beautiful game from Frontier. And once again people are whining because of details. The UI is just fine, it works well with keyboard as well as with a controller, and nothing takes away from the Planet Coaster experience we know. Yes, people can argue why this is not a DLC, but then there's enough improvements for a new version, and it's well worth its money. I know I will be spending many hours here once again.

Fun little game, love it! It would be cool if we could get more statistics screens in the ingame-phone-app, e.g. revenue per day/week/alltime for all products, revenue/costs/income as graph over time etc. :)

Amazing game. Active developers. The few remaining bugs and design issues (e.g. timegating) they will carve out for sure. Over 200 hours and can't await my second season now. :)

Unfortunately, changing to negative, because:

1. If you have only time or money for one game, Satisfactory or Foundry, Satisfactory is by far superior in close to all aspects. The only aspect it's not superior in is that Foundry has Minecraft-style block voxels, so the world can be shaped as you like. This will make for some nice underground bases etc. for people who are interested in creating pretty builds.

2. The standard input scheme is garbage. They copied so many things from other games, I have no clue why you need to press B to enter your inventory - whats wrong with tab? -, c for crafting, and so on. Additionally you don't use F (which in Foundry switched to demolition mode!) or E to e.g. enter a storage box, but you left-click on it with your mouse. Once you opened a storage you have to hit ESC to close it again. - All of this is very, very unintuitive and even 13+ hours in I constantly hit the wrong buttons. It's seriously the number one issue I have with the game right now.

3. The world is simply empty. In Modded Mincraft hundreds of modders have spent over a decade to help us fill the world, of course Foundry can't have something like that from the start, but as there are no dangers (not even basic NPCs which make exploration even a small tad exciting) you only run around to scan for new resource nodes. For me after having a few resource nodes of each there's no reason to look at anything in the world.

4. The lights are too dark.

5. Balancing of certain elements is dearly needed, e.g. the power poles distances are too short causing you to end up placing hundreds of them which visually takes over, and gets boring really fast. Another example is balancing out certain shapes of buildings. E.g. the sizes and shapes of the high-voltage machinery only allow for ugly or clumsy layouts. It's details, but they can change the game a lot.

6. The function regarding loading/unloading to/from conveyor belts is different than in other games and you will have to get used to it. I am not the biggest fan as the system makes all factories look weird, require much more space than you originally thought, and make it close to impossible to have clean conveyor lines AND still have access to all terminals of all machinery - and that access is needed as you control the devices by clicking actions/functions on their displays. It just feels clumsier and more overloaded that necessary. Probably nothing they will (or want to) change.

7. There doesn't seem to be a way to move items vertically (conveyor lifts, elevators, spirals, etc.), only a very basic conveyor slope which spawns across two blocks horizontally which per se makes all factories I saw so far look simply ugly. Lifts are 100% needed before a full release.

8. There's a basic tutorial quest line and a help section. You can see they put some work into that and it helps, but there's no way to just search for an item, see what it does/ how it works, and get the data other than visiting the research machine, picking the right research, and then looking at a short item description on the left hand side. That's unintuitive, and I ended up several times to waste a lot of time investigating data that should be present everywhere (e.g. how much items a basic level conveyor can transport per minute).

9. The Paradox launcher is not required, not helpful, and not wanted. I didn't get asked if I want that publisher trash on my harddrive. Remove it.

As we say with so many games: it has potential, but it's a long way to go.

Awesome! Just awesome! Everybody talks of CK3 and TW3, but this little gem fits nicely into the niche of "easier to get into" and "still complex enough to keep you addicted". I don't know why there's this "harsh" 8 knight limitation, thats really the only thing I currently don't adore. Otherwise: such a great job, and so sad to see this doesn't have more players to enable more DLCs etc.

Thanks for this great entertainment!

No native widescreen support 6 years after launch. Typical Bethesda. Get lost.

Awesome ARPG. Such games, built by tiny teams, show how far Blizzard has dropped in skill, quality and customer understanding. If this game costs 40 bucks, D4 should cost 4.

The locomotion and the terrible combat system destroy it for me. The UI is simply terrible too. The scenario and a few gimmicks are fun ideas, but gameplay-wise this is simply not enough, not even in early access.

Too little progress since 2021 making it a kind of dead project which is unfortunate as it had a promising start, just simply no noteworthy delivery afterwards.

Awesome game. Around 10 times better than Ark.
