So here we are. The legendary Zup! trilogy comes to an end. I have played the previous two and this one didn't do anything too wild or new. There were a few levels with cool new mechanics. Sadly these new mechanics only lasted those few levels, not to be seen anymore in the game.

So what is Zup you might ask. Quickly summarized, Zup is a really short (20-40 minutes) and really cheap puzzleish game. You click some boxes and try to guide your little ball into green area. That's all that there is to it really. Now the real catch of the game is usually the hundreds of achievements that you get playing the game. These achievements are like letters, numbers etc to customize your profile with. Zup! 3 includes 1708 achievements. It's a bit of an overkill to be real and sadly the achievements in this entry are really bland looking. Yeah you get your different color alphabet and numbers but that's it really. Atleast in the previous entry you got a damn Gabe Newells face to make your steam profile shine.

In summary, it's an ok game for under a buck. You have a little bit of fun, you get a bunch of achievements to customize your profile with and that's it.

I enjoyed the original Zup! Cheap little game, loads of cool achievements to customize your profile with and fun mechanics. This sequel lives up to the hype. Fun little relaxing game. Recommended!

The game was fun, music was wonderful and the controls were tight. Pretty cool mechanics and fun bossfight. Definetly worth the asking price.

I'll spoil the big surprise for you. At the center of the universe, there awaits disappointment.

EDIT: As of 2021 the team has gone above and beyond updating the game so I'll do the same and update my review to mirror the current state of the game.

Gameplay was solid and fun for all the 16 minutes it lasted me.

The game was short and sweet. Pretty good stuff for a cheap game.
Music was good, gameplay solid. I really liked the style of the game.

So should you spend a few euros/dollars/whatevers for this game?
Sure. Worth it.
