I highly recommend Slay the Spire. While I disagree that the game was "release ready" on release, it's still getting updates and it continues to become a better game.

I never actually played this game before the multiplayer beta - but the multiplayer is what really sold me on this game. Grab a couple friends, set up a voice chat and farm, fish, and romance your brains out!

Highly recommended for fans of the flash games and for people who love fluid 2d platformers.

As it stands right now the game has a small list of issues, most of which do not impact a normal playthrough. The developer has also announced a couple updates, so it will only get better.

# Accessibility Issues
* No way to rebind your keys. You'll have to use an external program to fix this.
* No way to change your save file. Currently no easy way to solve this.
* Game always launches in fullscreen. You can leave fullscreen from the menu, or by pressing Esc while launching.

If you've played Portal or Antichamber and liked it you should absolutely get this game. Visually it should reminds me of Antichamber but with a lot more polish. The puzzle mechanics are minimalistic but they all blend really nicely.

I'm a little disappointed that you can't see your best level performance anywhere. The replay value is raised quite a lot by challenging yourself to beat each level as fast as possible.

Update as of 2015-03-26:
The developers has done so many amazing things to improve this game for our little niche of speedrunners. While it still doesn't keep track of best performance the game now has a much more detailed in-game timer and in speedrun mode there's a timer for your full run as well. Huge amounts of praise to Toasty.

Probably one of my favorite games ever. The main part of the game, the "campaign", is simply fantastic and a load of fun, however I have experienced a lot of problems in this game when I went back to replay certain missions and the level editor is pretty limited. Therefore I'm hoping for a sequel or just a "level developer" edition that improves upon the level format and the level editor.
