A fantastic take on the Vampire Survivors genre with a bright future.

If you're looking for a fun open-world exploration game with no fail-states then I highly recommend Sable. There's a myriad of minor issues - some that really frustrated me - but having finished the game I still love it and will be personally recommending it to a few friends who like this genre.

The game has plenty of jank, but if you think you're gonna love it you're most likely going to love it.

TRI is sadly full of bad game design. Finding every idol requires combing every square in every level to find movable bricks that otherwise blend seamlessly into the wall. At one point you cannot progress in the story unless you figure out that an entire wall is made of these bricks. While the mechanics are generally alright the stage-design in TRI takes all the fun out of them.

It's a cult classic. If you've never played portal don't waste any time and play it already :D

First play-through took ~100 minutes. Has quite a bit of unforgiving first person platforming, but plays well with quick save and quick load. Navigating some areas can be quite frustrating as the way forward can be a little hidden.

Worst part of the mod was an area that periodically blinds you. Not a difficult area, just annoying not being able to see where you're going.

The voice acting certainly carries this mod. While having a first person character talking to themselves can make them seem quite mad, the story this mod wants to tell wouldn't work without it.

Overall I recommend playing it. It's free, it's a bit different, it doesn't overstay its welcome.

The entire game is just too repetitive. Later stages hardly get any more challenging, it just takes longer to get around the robots to shoot at their big flashing weak points. It's worth trying if you like that kind of gameplay, but this game was not for me.

This game is very opinionated, which depending on what you enjoy can be a great thing.
- Unless you get lucky, or watch/read guides, you will die very quickly to every single boss (within 5 seconds) and spend a lot of time walking back to their arena (20 something seconds for every death). Combined with animations you spend very little time fighting bosses, and a lot of time doing *nothing*.
- The arrow recall gimmick is just a gimmick. It's great in the fights where it's required, but outside of that it's mostly just going to get you killed as you can't move while using it.
- While almost all bosses follow strict patterns, you have to notice and learn these while barely moving fast enough to dodge incoming attacks. Watching videos is rarely useful as they will often use quick kills that aren't evident when playing blind.
- The game's world is massive but basically empty. The one cool thing you can do in the world doesn't have any reward whatsoever. The developers most likely didn't even think it was possible.

Overall I just cannot recommend this game.

Exceedingly fun and Valve is constantly pushing out fresh updates. While I was initially disappointed with the Underlords feature they have since been fixed. Worth checking out with almost every update.
