I love the game as a fan of Battlestar.

The gameplay comes across as a digital version of the X-Wing table top game. It's fun and engaging, makes you definitely think. I do think that the Dradis range is little short other than that the game is really fun. Watching the replays is also a super cool thing.

Not a massive fan of EVERYONE in this game being a namesake connected to the show. I always find it slightly annoying.
FIX THE VIPER GUN NOISE. Sounds nothing like any of the guns in the show, at all.

It's good. It continues the story from New Order and gives you a recap if you forgot or didn't play it.

Screw the people who want a non stop shoot moving targets game. Let it have some story, show you whats going on instead of some guy standing infront of you talking for 32 seconds saying go shoot that.

This game actually has story, good cutscenes, fun gun play. It has some pretty fun gun upgrades with some new ones showing up on the scene.
Dual weilding, and shooting everying, or going stealthy. Both options available.
The game looks great. Plays really well even though my processor is 2 cores under min req. I have an FX-6300, GTX980 4gb. Runs 60 FPS all day on yltra GFX settings.

♥♥♥♥ are that the vault over cover system gets clunky in cramped spaces.
Crashes about every two or three hours. Seriously like clockwork, every driver updated, runs everything else fine, just this crashes.
UPDATE - Crashes occuring more frequently. Every 15-30 minutes now. almost bad enough to give it a thumbs down.... as much as the game is amazing the crashes are becoming annoying.

When I bought this it was being portrayed as the new Black and white. I loved BW and BW2. it is NOT. it's a simple mobile game that is nothing like them. A total rip off I only remembered because I am uninstalling games I don't play and came across it.

I REEEEAAAALLLYYY want to like this game. I even have VR now and REALLLLLYYY want to like it.

But it doesn't deliver. I got killed last night because I couldn't open a door. the touch controller recognition in VR is garbage. Play it with a xbox controller. Still nausiating and difficult. if in VR DO NOT JUMP.

The atmosphere is great, lighting and sound come together for an awesome ride. The story is slow and not very clear. It was OK for what is was. But not worth the amount I paid IMHO. now that I have VR it still didn't redeem itself. Actually prefer to play it in non VR

By far one of the best VR experiences I have had so far. Gameplay is simple, but engaging. Beautifuly presented, simple and fun. The teleport system keeps the motion sickness away and I can enjoy this game for hours. A very solid game with many fun game modes to keep you challenged and coming back for more!

I am a massive space nerd. I stream KSP all the time. This game showed sooooo much promise. When it dropped on Early Access it was good for what it was. Then there was almost no action on the game for the longest time. Years of inactivity.

Then BOOM! It's out of EA!?!?! holy crap!?!

Still pretty bad. Bohemia does really know how to make a good reliable engine that doesn't feel clunky or dated. They really finally added what would have been good to have almost 2 or 3 year ago. At this point the game had been retired from many people's libraries and minds. Sadly I have to say I think it was too little, too late with games like The Forest, Space Engineers and Subnautica having taken a good step forward in survival and building games. They keep up the updates and have a good content base with better engines and gameplay.

OK So. I like it and i hate it... It has a wierd duality.

Pros-
Open world
An enjoyable game for a few hours at a time. Similar to Far Cry 3 or Just Cause.
Looks decent
Allows pretty much straight up freedom to approach missions areas however you want.
Decently large gun selection
A decently told story that isn't bad (but isn't outstandingly amazing either)

The AI is seriously stupid. Can't my team to engage or cover my back or do anything unless I stop in mid combat and micromanage them. Enemies are even stupider.

Driving ... oh my god. I didn't know you could make driving dynamics this bad. Heavy ass APCs that slide all over the road, pick up trucks that can't corner and the clunkiest helicopter since BF:Vietnam. Oh an EVERYTHING is made of tissue paper. Touches a rock barely - Car looks like it was hit by a train.

Magical appearing enemies. I can NOT stress this enough. I approach, clear an entire area and then make my move on a target and BAM four or five enemies behind me. Very much like a four star chase in GTA.

Gun availability. - US Special forces are deployed to a foreign country. No access to STANDARD NATO guns. M249, M4A1, SR-25 or anything. then you have to go to some of the most heavily guarded places in the game to get them. BUT hey I can unlock a cool gold and wood skin for them!

Overall I like the game as a whole but man there are some seriously frustrating things. Like the $100 I spent on it only to be told that there is like another $40 worth of content I can't have unless I buy it.... paywall. wow. Also the DLC is not outstanding by any means and does not augment the main story or your character.

This game is great - and terrible.

I can and will sink tons of hours into these games. The combat and characters are fun. BUT the RNG... jesus the RNG. Sometimes it's just out to get you. Enemy hits everything from max visual range and your team misses 12 shots in a row! I mean come on I have a train combat operative who misses at point blank range?

So I am what the community calls a "save scrub." I don't and will not play Ironman mode because of funky flukes like that.
out side of that the avatar project is annoyingly fast paced.

BUT the combat is varied. The maps are fun to play on. The graphics are decent and the story isn't bad. I don't honestly care what the community thinks about my scrubbing and going back to a save from earlier. It's a single player game for the ages.

In a world dominated by online only or online heavy games this single player gem is a great addition to any library of a tactics game fan. Solid 8/10.

Meh. It's a take or leave it.

It's basically the HOT TOPIC pack. Spikes on everything leather and short shorts.

That said there are quite a few things I like, goggles, aviator helmet, different pant styles and forearm options. I'd say sure if you like the asthetic. I can't complain, but I am not in love or anything.

This gives you an intersting mission. A peek at a fully maxed specialist (Shens daughter).

Then you get a SPARK. Now these are basically the mech enhanced infrantry unit from XCOM:EU. BUT they don't get you utilize any of the soldier upgrades, PCS, weapon or carry inventory.

You can get him new abilities, and new armor. The SPARKs are large and can provide cover and nice firepower. They are a good squad supplement and have intersting character voices. They are a good supplement to the squad.

I will not recommend however that it's $10 worth of content. I think $5 is a great price. Snatch it on sale!
