Game play: a fun and tightly designed grapple based 2D Platformer.
Story: one of the most heart wrenching ordeals that I've experienced.

A Mega Man Battle Network styled rougelite is perhaps the greatest idea I've ever heard of for a rougelike/lite game! As such, it makes me sad because I really don't like this game. Your victory feels too RNG based and less about skill, and it's a bit too hectic for the kind of game it is. I'll fully admit that I'm not good at it, but most games I'm not good at I'm willing to play enough of them to get good... this one just wasn't for me I guess.

Live and learn... it will keep you hanging on the edge of tomorrow!

I'm not a fan of colony building sims or roguelites... or cults really for that matter. That being said, this game is an absolute blast that really gives the "one more level" kind of feeling that all games should strive for! Addicting game play, fantastic art style, and a stellar soundtrack!

Mega Man Zero meets Shatterhand in one of the best platformer experiences I've ever played, and my favourite platformer of 2023! I highly recommend this to any fans of 2D platformers and those who like fast paced action games in general! The pixel art and soundtrack are fantastic too!

I always wanted to get in to the Mech genre of video games, but I never really knew the best place to start. So I didn't really know what to expect when I picked up AC6, but I gotta say, this game is an absolute blast! The mech customisation, fast game play, and unforgettable set pieces makes this game a must-play for anyone who is at all interested in Mech games, action games, or just big robots in general!

An HD Armored Core collection when, FromSoft?

The most addicting game I've ever played in my life. 10/10.

Removing content for no reason is a bad look. Saying that you will never address any complaints on the topic is even more so.

The game play itself is fun, yes! And while I would love to recommend it, I unfortunately cannot while it is in its current state. It is not what was promised, and it continues to miss the mark. Give it a pass until it gets better.

UPDATE:
It got better. Took over a year, but late than never. It's still missing a decent amount and it has a way to go before it is everything that was promised. However, there are now more missions, a detailed (albeit heavily RNG based) weapon upgrade system, a very well done level-up system which allows extensive character customisation, and it no-longer crashes every two or three missions!
