Its gears with new paint and thats nice but do not expect top have fun outside the coop mode. I don't remeber the squad AI being so bad but its really a testement to what passed for ok at release They will not help you at all not even a little and that makes this game stupid hard for so reason

I'm glad people are finally seeing infinite for what it is trash. Far too many defended 343 at launch. It was clear on day one this was not going to get better. We really shouldn't be surprised the dev team made of people who hatted what classic halo was slowly trashed the franchise. They may have slapped their logo all over MCC really all they did was repackage Bungies amazing accomplishments the games themselves are good because they had nothing to do with them except for halo4 witch nobody playes more than once to get the story.
Loosing split screen coop is just the latest BS and honestly people that planned on that existing should get a full refund since it was promised a dozen plus times.

Infinite is some kind of monster conglomeration of everything wrong with modern gaming in both multi and single player. Halo had zero reason to copy fornight trash or cod trash or any other games gimicy microtansacrion battle pass ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage. 343 is all about appealing to the fornight/apex kiddy with their parents credit card at the expense of halo fans that have been with the franchise since day one.
Don't even get me started on the single player. Never seen a studio bail on everything they set up in prior games. Cortana's story might not have been that great but the way they just bail on it is pathetic.
The opening cutscene should have been a level. We should of had multiple levels working up to the destruction of the infinity and chef's enevitable loss. That would have made the impact of the loss and the destruction of the ring hit way harder. Really it feels like there's a missing act like you start in the middle of a 3 act game and even the 3rd act is missing you just get a cliffhanger that based on 343s current inability to get features done probably means campaign dlc will go the way of Valves attempt at the whole episode thing. Except this time we won't even see a part 2.

As much fun as XCOM can be the game just has zero respect for your time. The constant exposition dumps that take away control from the player take a game with maybe 6 hours worth of content and make it 60.

Was going OK till ME2. Now im like 5 hrs into that and already have to edit my save because the game decided it wont drop any ammo for a whole mission. Im softlocked without editing the save since it takes a single bullet to proceed where Im at.

Its a rust clone with more bugs and lower frame rate. Definitely not worth the full price or even the two pack price.

Right now as it stands the game may look great but I cannot get playable framerates on an I7 4770k 24gb Ram and a R9270x 2560x1080 Even at Med settings no AA its hovering around 30FPS with drops down to 15. On low it goes up to around 45 with drops to 30 however it looks worse than some mobile games at that point. I belive the devs will be working hard to fix this as it seams to be common to a lot of people. Once its optimized to med-high at like 50 FPS avg I would start recomending it to friends so devs GET ON THIS I have at least 4 fiends that I had to tell not to buy because I knew there systems would not be able to run it.


Time to update this review. The game is mildly more playable today than it was in the past. Same system just a GPU upgrade to a 970 and 1440p monitor. But for this game 1080 still the only way to get 30 ish fps. Currently this game is a cash grab for the devs hell look at the console releases they dont even manage 30fps locked. The gaming industry today sucks compared to just a few years ago and these devs are part of the problem. I paid full price at reasles cause i loved the idea they had here but seeing now DLC release that add up to more than that even with a decent rig I cant enjoy the game feels like a slap in the face.
