Game has tons of grinding and its "pay to skip" NOT "pay to win". If you dont wanna grind you can pay and skip it but it's really not necessary. I started playing free and still going strong. Choose Soviets as a starting faction for myself and it does not felt like a grind. I had and I will have tons of fun playing this game. ONLY DOWNSIDE FOR ME is the crossplay. Because maaan those console players are literal bots. When there is more than 3 in our team we definitely lose. And finally Soviets has a great arsenal but not that much of a great playerbase.
