This is not a game, this is a lifetime experience.
Don't expect a challenging game - but an awesome interactive movie.

I love the concept and mechanics of the game and I would really want to keep playing it. HOWEVER, I can not recommend it at all, because I don't see how developer with a mindset like the people behind this game deserve a dime from any player.
Instead of fixing the horrific matchmaking (which matches beginners with 1000h+ players, which basically leads to you getting trolled and teabagged all the time) or any of the bugs in the game, they push out more paid content to milk the player for money. You get discouraged really fast by the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ matchmaking and the better looking options you would get with DLCs start to look very tempting. Seriously? Screw the devs! This has been a major complaint since release.

Thought I would buy a happy little train game, since it's on sale anyways... turns out it's hard as ♥♥♥♥. - But tons of fun once you get the hang of it!

Recenzja wczesnego dostępu
I have played hundrets of hours of Factorio before the official Steam release and also now, after the release, I have to say, it is one of the most addicting games I have ever played. The developers course of updates is awesome, the modbase is huge and the game offers just so much to do. It can easily happen that you spend 100h+ in a single world, even without a huge modpack. The game also is pretty easy to mod, though the mod support in some spaces (UI, structure-support) could definitely be extended, but all in all, Factorio is a game to keep playing for a long time and it is worth every cent of its full price.
Also, one thing I have to add. Since I have been playing the game since the earlier versions, I definitely have to compliment the devs on the multiplayer stability. The technical approach behind it is (and especially has been) really hacky sometimes, but as a player, it just works. Haven't had any major issues in a long time now neither playing nor running a headless server since pre v12.0

I love everything about its concept and its gameplay but the fact that not even the core gameplay (story, traveling etc.) is usable without a permanent connection to their servers just kills the fun for me. There should be at least a way to export online profiles to offline mode, of course the other way around can't really be done, but that's another story. Either way, if you liked Space Run, you will most likely love Space Run Galaxy. It is an awesome addition to old concepts and definitely a bit more challenging.

Space Run Galaxy is a great game and now that the server issues seem to be resolved, I think it's save to say, that the developers earned my review changed, since 95% of the negative reviews are just because of the inital server problem.

A Tower Attack game?!
The most important thing I want to mention here is, Space Run is a tower defense game. A pretty simple one, mind you. But in depth, it's much more than that.

While the basic of the game consist of building offensive and defensive weapons to keep your ship alive, as well as thrusters to actually move through space, the active part of combat is much more complex than a simple tower defense game. Every structure comes with 3 upgrade slots that can be purchased with credits earned from previous runs. These upgrades mostly consist of 2 active upgrades and one passive upgrade. The active upgrades range from reorienting weapons, over massive single-time attack to quick-repair.

All in all, the tower defense aspect of the game is just one part of it. Using active abilities wiesely, adjsuting to your stubborn cargo and handling all the micro-management, is the really big part of the game. And no, we don't need a pause button or anything, be fast or die, that's it, that's the challenging part of the game. - And really, it's not thaat hard.

Space Run is an interesting and fun mix approach that will kepp you well entertained for ~10h if you want to complete it. With the current number of 30 runs, I have to say, I'm not sure if I would've bought it outside the Steam sale however.
