The game has a slow start, but when you get pass it (~1 hour) it's when the game's unique core mechanic - Alchemy, sucks you in. Graphic is amazing, both in high and low end pc, i managed to pull through with 30-40fps on my potato laptop (i5-E7200U, 4GB Ram, HD620) with all setting to low, no shadow and the game still look impressive. For the story, even though up to the point i write this review (about 7 hours), it's seem like i still at the beginning of the game lol, maybe because most of the time i spent in this game was for hunting ingredients and experimented with Alchemy.

In conlusion, a good buy for all you JRPG fan out there, even if you're new to Atelier franchise.

However, be advised that if you want to enjoys this game to the fullest, an Xbox controller is a must. Even though one of the game's latest update added mouse support which is a big thumb up for Koei Tecmo for listening to the fan, control still feel...awkward.
