I've played enough Japanese indie games to know that when you see graphics like this, you're in for the greatest experience of your life. 10/10, more fun than ARPGs for a fraction of the price.

Brief Karate Foolish is the magnum opus of fighting games.

Just look at the graphics. It looks better than real life.
The character designs. Who is the mysterious B-Zoro? Is Nekomimi a real cat?
The fan service. My briefs are currently off.
Amazing animations. Amazing karate moves based on real life 8-dan black belts in their respective arts.
Gameplay is tight like tightie-whities. Combos are challenging yet satisfying. Character balance is second-to-none.
This game can run on a pair of briefs plugged into a wall outlet and a monitor.

10/10

DANGER SHEN KICKING TRIADS IN THE FACE YEEEEEAAAAAAA

Pros
+GTA but with Kung Fu instead of guns
+Kill a man with a fish tank
+They speak Cantonese like true Hong Kong action stars
+Entertaining NPC dialogue
+Tasty Pork Buns

Cons
-Won't necessarily live up to modern standards
-Not much incentive to explore Hong Kong when you're too busy kicking ass
-(Spoiler) Wei is a cop
-Will never have a sequel

The game is still a gem, 10/10

GTAV looks great, feels great to play, but is ultimately a soulless world with untapped potential that we will never see because of its very lucrative Online gamemode.

The main scenario storyline is passable but doesn't hit home any of the nuanced, deeper themes presented in earlier games of the series. It is largely an ode to excess and superficiality, which is a good starting foot for a story based in a parody of Los Angeles with three main characters, but it ultimately falls flat and degrades into a heist movie in the end. This is a case where the game becomes the very thing it is parodying and doesn't break free from its literary trappings in order to present a larger idea, instead using thinly veiled political analogies as a scapegoat for larger systemic problems...

Woops, I meant: Guns go pewpew. Cars go vroomvroom. Recommended.

Saints Row 3 is as dated as its dubstep gun.
But one day we'll look back at those simpler times, boot up some Saints Row, get naked, and whack people with an enormous purple dildo. And for that, I'll keep this game in my library.
