A great upgrade from Eugen's Wargame series, with some better feeling gameplay and a surprisingly amazing soundtrack, a must play for any RTS fan.

Amazingly fun game to play both with friends and with random players.
They updated the formula amazingly and the dev team is constantly adding new fun weapons and stratagems to play with, if you are interested in it, go ahead and buy it. It's worth the money.

A great return to the original with new items, mechanics, art, remastered music and more. For the price it´s a great return to the original and a great way to modernise a classic while keeping the ror feel. If you liked ror, it´s a must buy. If you like ror2 and didn´t like ror maybe read the title before putting a negative review about how it`s not like the sequel. It wasn´t meant to be like the sequel, it´s in the damn name. Goated return to form.

Game's still great, an amazing team fighter with fun mechanics that makes matches equally fun and chaotic. If you're upset about the recent changes then you probably didn't play the game and you should go touch grass you bunch of 0.5h playtime weirdos.

A really interesting RTS title that has simplified the management of units and resources to a couple of clics and keys, with a great art style and soundtrack to go along the simplfied but enjoyable gameplay, a really interesting and fun RTS that has inovated in a bunch of fun ways, if you are interested in RTS games but games like Starcraft seem too dificult, pick this up, even if you are experienced in RTS games i would recommend this game.

An excellent adaptation of the original game to 3d, if you liked the original, you will like this. Overall an extremely solid rouge lite game that has been improved in most ways when compared to the original, this is a great buy.

Dusk is a game that tries to do what many people have tried before, making an old school shooter that can get even close to quake. But the thing that makes Dusk different is that it succeeded, to a level where it actually surpasses quake in some certain areas.

The gameplay is phenomenal, you have your usual array of weapons, the shotgun, the double barrel, the machine gun, etc. But then it gets interesting, you have a crossbow that can shoot through walls and enemies, making it a situational but extremely powerful weapon, and instead of always using the double barrel, how about double wielding the regular shotgun? It has less damage but can shoot farther away. There's a lot of interesting weapons in this game and they all work together beautifully, and they all see plenty of use trough out the campaign. The movement is just right, being fast and agile, and strafe jumping is an option if it's not fast enough for your liking.

Now the graphics, they mimic the quake era very well, with very sharp shapes that make up the world and characters, but they still manage to look great and it fits the artstyle, and just like quake it manages to be atmospheric in a way that not a lot of ways have archived , if that isn't enough, you have a lot of options to customize the look of the game so it fits what you like.

The sound is great, the soundtrack is amazing and a head banger when you are cutting down enemies by the hundreds, but can be atmospheric and fit the scene when needed, it shows how amazing Andrew Hulshult really is at making these kinds of soundtracks. And the sound design is great too, managing to make the game scary in some parts, something you usually don't expect from these kinds of games, and some enemies are just pure genius like the wendigo that use sound in a really clever way.

TL;DR If you are looking for a quake style shooter so you can have some double barreled fun for around 8 hours, but you have already played everything good out there, this is basically the best alternative, amazing level design, gameplay, sound and graphics make a great shooter that stands out as one of the greats, even when compared to modern games, this game still rocks.

For 23 € you are getting what is in my experience the best multiplayer shooter that has been released recently.

The gunplay is satisfying, not as arcade as your regular FPS but its not a simulator either, the weapons have the right amount of punch to them, making kills very satisfying.

The maps are great, sure not all are a 10/10 but most of them are enjoyable and still fun to play, and even if you hate them all for some reason, there are community made maps built right into the game, so I'm sure you'll end up finding a map you like.

The sound is amazing, punchy and gives the guns part of that "punch" that makes them so satisfying, and they are all recognizable by sound alone, as they don't sound all the same like in most games. Also, arty and vehicles also sound great and very recognizable, so when you hear arty drop you know to stay away from that area.

The graphics aren't great, you can tell it runs on unreal engine 3, but it also has a unique look that doesn't go for photorealism and goes for a different approach for the look of the game, and it comes out looking great with some really nice looking maps, guns and character models thanks to great art direction.

I can't go without mentioning support, the game gets updated constantly, and these updates include bugfixes, weapon balancing, and even dumb little details like making the running animation similar to Red ORchestra 2, because people preferred it, that shows that they understand and listen to the players and patch the game accordingly, so the game is way more polished now than before.
The game also constantly gets updated with new and amazing content like new factions, maps, weapons, and even modes, and these aren't throwaway gimmicks, these are great pieces of content on their own that we get for free, this makes this games lifespan look promising and keeps things fresh with new great content.

Community is great, doesn't take the game too seriously to the point of ruining it for new players or lower skilled players, you can tell most people play just to have a good time, not to scream at people like in most multiplayer communities.

It all sums up to a great game that is satisfying, enjoyable and good fun, with a unique premise and time period, with a great amount of polish and constant support by the devs that come out with new content all for a low price, this is definitely a game you should check out if you are in the least bit interested.

TL;DR If you want a more unique shooter than the generic ones that are everywhere with some satisfying combat and great sound and with a dev that constantly updates it and listens to the community, you should check this game out.

Great DLC, the new map is awesome, it plays really well and it's different enough to charge 15$, and now you will hold out in huge bunkers and fortifications against the enemy in awesome, huge battles. If I had to say something bad, the performance in some of the bigger battles could be better, but I'm nitpicking, for only 15$ it adds my favourite campaign in the game right now and lots of new content, easy recommendation.
