I first heard about this game from Kotaku, it was mentioned as an odd JRPG that was good but required getting used to. I bought it thinking I would get to it eventually. Then I downloaded it and from the moment I heard Escape Velocity during the first stage I knew this was something special. The combat is fast paced but easy to learn, the magic is amazing, the boss fights were beautifully designed and the music is from such an amazing collection of sources, I really recommend 36 Hours Till the End and Re:Cybernetic. The story was also amazing as well and kept me going long after I would usually put down an JRPG. I can't recommend this highly enough, the fact that this was all done by Keizo is amazing. This game gave me a joy I havent felt since I played Ar Tonelico and I want to thank Keizo for giving us this masterpiece. I'll be returning for the DLC after I take a short break from the game and I cant wait to see what he has in store for me this time.

This is a very deceptive but adorable game. It starts you off small with Mylne's cute adventures and ends with an eldritch abomination of a mystery dungeon I did not see coming. Don't be fooled by the opening but stick with this game. It has something special in it and rewards persistence.

Oh Astria Ascending, where do I begin? I would like to swear to show my immense displeasure but alas, I'm limited to the polite vagaries of language. So instead let me sum up in section why I truly, truly despise this game.

Plot: In the land of harmony, people eat harmelons to barely suppress their active hate for each other. Eight people protect this barely existent harmony and will die in three years. Except the plot sort of falls apart because the harmony barely exists as it is and you often find that the people themselves may as well not eat the harmelon for all the good it does. I won't go into details because of spoilers (not that I give a care) but the plot is as thin as one-ply toilet paper on a good day.

Characterization: Meet our lovely heroes! Ulan: Ms.Generic Party Leader, Kress: Stoic Dragon Person, Kaydin: Warrior with a barely tangential past with one of the villains, Eko, the games punching bag for reasons, Dagmar who may as well be emotionally dead, Arpajo: One of the least likable party members I've seen in gaming and this counts the entire crew of this game too. , Alek: A Simp for Goddess Yuno who could be compared to a Vtuber fan who spent superchat money and Alassia: Whose sort of likable and maybe the only level headed person in the party. Sprinkle so much hypocrisy that it spoils the dish and you have a pasta that while it may look appetizing is soggy and barely edible.

Gameplay: Basically a mix of platforming and Bravely default. It's ok, its not horrible but several dungeons aren't designed well and the noises are a chore to kill due to an ever shifting array of weaknesses. Also, the side quests in this game have a major flaw in that there are no map icons whatsoever to point you to where you need to go. I had to google most of the locations for sidequests and even then the amount of information was so limited that I had to guess in most places. Plus when you aren't searching for a red glowing ball in a haystack you have quests where you have to kill 10 herpderps in the flerpherp isles for 5000 money and a weapon that will probably suck compared to what you are actively using. You can also try hunts which suffer from the same issues as the sidequests with the bonus of requiring random weather patterns to even spawn. I used podcasts to get through this game because after the amount of time I spent trying to decipher what I needed to do plus the amount of time needed to get through sidequests, I was dangerously close to putting this game down. Oh, also hope you like rail-shooters, because this game dips into that puddle for a moment and then forgets about it like it never happened.

Jster: Probably the one positive to this game. It's well designed and mostly fair, except for the random rule opponents that pop up every now and then. This could probably be spun off and do decently, its no Gwent but its not horrible.

Verdict: I could say much more about how much this game irks me but I think I covered enough. It's a shame too because the art style is good and the enemy designers feel wasted on a game of this scale. This game is a nightmare for completionists because of all the glitches and sidequests. I wanted to like this game, but I can't stand hypocrites and I can't stand games that have more holes than swiss cheese. I beat this game but you don't have to. Save yourself and buy something much better made.

DIsco Elysium is the strangest, most brilliant and depressing game I've ever played and this is counting Nier:Automata. I also never want to play it ever again. It enters into your soul and messes with it, but also makes you learn something if you look deeply enough. You will pay for the experience and its not for the weak of heart. But it's the closest thing to art that I've seen from the medium. In short it will chew you up and spit you out but my god what a ride

Hey, next time before you close down the auth servers for a game, maybe provide the DLC online or release the Ezio Collection on PC first. Also I know this is an old game but really, the controller support is horrible. Save the money and buy the Ezio Collection instead since at least that's feature complete now. Shame on you Ubi.

This was an experience. The art style is brilliant if blinding, I would not recommend playing this if you're prone to seizures. But it is worth playing one just to experience it for yourself.

I can't describe this game because I haven't quite seen anything like it. It starts as a walking sim where you listen to stories about the end and evolves into so much more. It is the most beautiful and horrifying story I've seen yet and I cannot recommend it enough.

A beautiful game with stunning visuals, Eastshade is a nice pleasant romp through the countryside. The scenery is beautiful and the people are charming if a little weird-looking. The game does have its frustrating points, there are some quests that require you to scrounge around for certain items that always seem to be in short supply. Even then though these quests are optional and you can just wander around painting the landscape if you so choose. Either way you approach it, it's a wonderful game.

Normally I don't write reviews for games but this experience is an exception. I can honestly say the game was good, I like the story, the characters are excellent, the gameplay is solid and the world is beautifully done. It's one of the best game I've played in a while and I would recommend it, if it wasn't buggy as all out. In my time with this game, it crashed twice a play session and would crash in such a way that I couldn't launch it again unless I completely restarted my pc. It would stutter horribly, often times reaching 15-20 fps per second, not all the time but enough to where it began to effect battles. I researched all around the web for a fix, I tried nearly everything to avoid a crash but it would continue to happen without fail. When a i5-6500, GTX 1080 and 16 GB Ram machine struggles with a game, it's the developers problem. There's apparently a known memory leak in this game, but since they dropped support for it I doubt it will be fixed. When the game crashed after a two hour run in Crestholm Channels and I lost my progress I just couldn't do it anymore and uninstalled. I really want to recommend this game but for the sake of your sanity, don't bother with the PC version. Stick to the consoles, where it may not look as pretty but at least it won't crash every hour. I expect more from you SE, this is a disgraceful port.
