A friend and I used to play this on LAN a whole lot, which was awesome.
I bought the game on sale, played it and what can I say?

The game is still very well made and a lot of fun!

Sehr schönes, kleines Mini-Spiel mit spaßigem lokalen Multiplayer.
Nimm einfach einen Kontroller und reich ihn 'rum.

Es ist einsteiger-freundlich, kann aber auch für erfahrene Spieler herausfordernd sein. Es ist gut designt (es ist auch auf Konsolen erhältlich) und wie gesagt, es macht sehr viel Spaß zu zweit oder in einer Gruppe.

local coop not working is VERY disappointing.
apart from that it's still a very good game though.

This is honestly the best game I know! The Defusal mode is the heart of this game. The gameplay is so fluent, has its fast moments as well as slow campy moments (there's no camping, only "tactical waiting").
To win, it requires Teamwork, good aim, good positioning and good use of your nades and flashes. It's the only game i know where, even if you random queue it's common to talk to your teammates (calling enemy positions, calling when you have bomb-control). Youtube tutorials will definitly help in understanding the incredible depth of this game. ..Incredible depth, while maintaing straight forward controlls.
I fully understand why they haven't majorly changed the formula of Counter-Strike. Because it just works so well! It's incredible.

Prime-Matchmaking works great to balance the teams and queue you up with similarly skilled players. Ocasionally there is a smurf, but I almost never see hackers(MG1-MGE).

The style also strikes a good balance between realism and good gameplay. You can't prone, just crouch. Which nervs camping just enough. Or the way the maps are structured, so the certain angles make sense and always have good visibility.

Tipps for beginners, that the game doesn't teach you (*recommending youtube tutorials by WarOwl or others)
- spray control
- sidestep-shooting
- nade throws
- buy a large mousepad and lower your sensitivity
- mouse setting: raw input 1, mouse acceleration 0

I don't care about skins. I don't care about 4k textures. The Gameplay is important and it's the best of any game I know. 10/10. gg. ak>awp
