Great game. Takes what the previous one did so well and makes it all bigger and better.

A great game hampered by horrible business decisions. As a customer who bought the previous version on PC and was denied any type of discount on this one, it took me two years to swallow my pride and buy it on deep discount. I can't give this game a thumbs up based on Square Enix's selfish decision to screw over its customers.

Pretty much a masterpiece in game design. It deserves all the praise it gets.

Its not outright bad, just mediocre...which is almost worse. If it was just bad I could've refunded immediately, but it was promising enough to keep me playing, hoping for greatness that never appeared.

There are a few moments of greatness in the boss encounters, but they are so rare that they only to serve to highlight how lacking the rest of the game is. Combat is uninspired and generic. Dodge, attack x3, special attack...repeat until bored. Traversal is a mess. Its not just not fun, it needs to be overhauled from the ground up its so bad. Its honestly not even worth unlocking the character-specific traversal skills, they all kind of suck.

Storywise it is weak. The Court of Owls, one of my favorite batman foes, is completely wasted. Its like the writers read a few wiki pages and just winged it.

It seems like they put more work into costumes than any other part of the game, which would be cool if the rest of the game was fun. To me it seems like uninspired, Avengers-like game design made to be a "live service" type of thing. I feel like corporate had too heavy a hand in its development too. It reeks of being rushed and having quality sacrificed for flash. Once the flash fades you are left with an empty experience.

More Kamurucho goodness from RGG studio and SEGA. Keep releasing them on PC and I'll keep buying them!

Probably the worst of the main Yakuza games, but its still Kiryu. Fans of the series should play through it, but most casuals shouldn't bother, it'll just be frustrating.

I was skeptical at first, but I went in with an open mind and ended up loving this game. As a Yakuza game it shines; good substories, fun new city to explore and great minigames to play. As a JRPG its really solid, way better than expected. All in all its a great experience for fans of the series and RPG fans alike.

You either RIP AND TEAR or cry and moan, there is no in between.

To be honest I didn't like Doom Eternal at first. My initial response was that it was over-designed with unnecessary features and way too colorful. There was just too much. Using the chainsaw for this and the flame belch for that seemed annoying and I was not used to managing resources in a such a fast paced game. It was just past the halfway point of the game that I started to realize its genius. Once you give yourself over to the style of play that is expected of you it becomes apparent that every feature is there for a reason and its all designed to push you to think, react, move and shoot in a way that has never been done in a "simple" FPS game.

The game is brutal, no joke. If you try to cheese your way through or play it like a straight arena shooter you won't stand a chance. I can see why so many people don't like the game. iD Software has a made a game that you have to adapt to in order to win. You either figure out the combat loop or you won't move forward. The thing is, if you play the game the way its intended to be played you will absolutely become better at first person shooters so theres really no reason not to give in and take the ride...if you can hang.

My one real complaint is the big sword. You have a 7 weapons, a chainsaw, grenades, a flamethrower, a BF'freakin'G, and a gnarly melee weapon. Do you really need the giant one-hit-kill sword too? Even after I "got" the game and see it for the masterpiece it is, I still think the sword is a bit much and don't see why its needed over a full chainsaw.
