Great overall game, but it's basically in beta mode at the moment. Tons of visual and sound glitches. Plenty of hard crashes. It needed a couple more months in the oven.

This is basically the formula of the first game, but they've fleshed out the nemesis system in really cool ways. There are encounters with orcs that are genuinely surprising and often times just flat out hilarious. It's a no-brainer if you liked the first, but certainly worth a shot if you haven't tried either. It can get a little bit menu-heavy at times because there is an almost board game like system in the background you interact with regularly. Other than that it's just straight up badass action murderin' orcs fun times.

The only way to afford the machine required to play this game at a stable framerate is to fully engage in the corporatocracy and work your way to the top, therefore fulfilling Cyberpunk's vision of the future.

I never thought that I would get invested in Half Life again after the years of waiting for HL3, but here we are. The exclusion of any sort of melee is a big disappointment, but the gameplay holds up regardless, especially in the final quarter. There are a lot of seemingly strange design decisions that feel forced because of the medium. VR is still weird and experimental in a lot of ways and even a AAA production like this leaves you scratching your head at times. However, once I was able to get over some of the limitations, the immersion sets in and you can really appreciate the world they have built. The conclusion of the game brought back everything that made me interested in Half Life to begin with. Now that I am looking back on it, it feels like I actually experienced all of the games events, characters, and narrative first hand - and that feels like VR realizing its potential.
