At a glance, the HUD for Schism is overwhelming and intimidating. However, as you dive deeper, you see a lot of care and love poured into this fun and interesting roguelike game. From its bullet hell aspects, to its gunplay, to interesting loot, Schism offers a low barrier of entry for a game which can require a lot of skill to master. Schism features buffs and debuffs from gods, a leveling system, and a rabbit hole full of unique and strong weapons. All of these mechanics blend naturally together to form a game where you start as a weakling and progressively become the tough guy. While sometimes it is hard to understand all of the moving parts while clearing out a room, I have gotten better at understanding what is going on compared to when I first started playing. I'm looking forward to learning more about the game's mechanics, and see what cool combinations I can make in my next run.

Massive emmersive game. Not as good as oblivion. Still holds up on its own if you don't compare it to anything. Hours of content. Neat
