Just randomly came across this game, Liked the premise, booted it up, I enjoy the humor, ill update the review after I put in more time but so far past the intro and first mission I look forward to seeing what the game is.

One of my favorite games.

Sadly even after patch 1.6 the game is still in a broken state. The confidence system for the drivers needs to be removed entirely. I stayed out for a safety car with the worst cars on the grid to gain track position. It's clear they we would be overtaken in that scenario given our cars performance. But you can't even enlist strategies like this because of the loss of driver confidence when overtaken. It's like the people programming the game don't actually play it.

Edit: Update to patch 1.7.
I had two drivers signed for next season and both slots wound up being vacant leaving me unable to sign anyone. This game is unfinished, poor QA, and not worth the time I spent. I wish I could refund.

Edit: Patch 1.8 is in the works. I will post a final review after reviewing the patch when it's eventually out.

Patch 1.8, everything appears to be fixed. Worth purchasing if you are a fan of prior games.
Yes I wish they'd switch to unreal 5 and make the game a visual showcase to help increase sales but that possibility is probably forever gone.

I love this game. If you love robocop buy this game.

I'd like to be able to set item prices from the computer. I'd like to be able to set a rule for all items (such as set item prices to be 15 cents more than market price) from the computer. So it auto adjusts based on market variance on its own.

You also need to let the game run in the background. That is very annoying as well that the game pauses when there is a loss of focus on the window.

As soon as they can fix customers and stockers getting stuck I'll reinstall. Good otherwise.

Popped in to try it out during early access. It's fun, immediately sold out to the mob for the extra money to meet payroll LOL.

Virtual Currency being in game is a clear sign that the single player portion is a compromised mobile game. Online only means the game will brick and be unplayable so you're just paying for a rental. Disappointing first entry. I'd wait and save your money to see if they ever do better in the future. (Highly unlikely)

Started playing after update 4. Turn off any upscaling to prevent crashes. Got the game on a discount.
Playing on hard on my first play through, the game makes you respect the enemies which has made exploration and completing missions fun. Buying passive upgrades from the community makes me care about picking up every item I see. Nice addition.

Great game. Shame about the PSN requirements.

Battlepasses that expire are predatory. Until I get back the pass I paid for I can't recommend this game. Go play Helldivers 2 instead. They respect your purchases.
